So if the NWA champ still gets 10% of the gate, does that mean Blue Demon got 10% of the $860 gross ( 86 fans x $10 )for his payday?

Plus, he sold at least 8 polaroids with him and the belt for 10 bucks each too, so there is another 80 bucks.

Highlight video of the title change.  You have to go to the 2:30 mark before you see actual wrestling, before that is backstage stuff and introductions.  They don't show the finish, I'm sure to build more demand for the DVD that 6 people will order.

You could've linked people directly to the video and not exposed them to spyware (since most people don't have AdBlock) at that awful website.  At any rate, the video was removed from YouTube.

Demon was in the process of reclaiming all the CMLL-owned NWA titles so I have a feeling he may get the belt back soon.

Makes me wonder why Demon or the so called "tradition first" NWA would want to take away titles that have been part of lucha for 70+ years.

Only through the whoring of it's name for money. In Wisconsin alone, there are at least three indy promotions running with the NWA name attached.

As long as there are mark-ass promoters willing to pay out the ass to use the NWA name, the NWA will still be around.
