I just saw on Twitter that Punk broke in on the WWE's ComicCon panel to confront Hunter.

The spirit of Pillman lives. Maybe they can take it a step further by really releasing Punk to get the angle over only for him to jump to another promotion.

Kinda like it. They are trying to add "realism" and as long as they don't botch that end of things I like this approach as long as it is done sparingly and doesn't turn into "I left a video for you on Youtube pal" or some other ploy just designed to drive traffic to a website or webpage.

I gotta think that at this point, Punk has quite a bit of input into this whole angle...

PWInsider is reporting that Punk showed up with a bullhorn and said that if someone wanted to challenge him for the WWE title, they should come to Chicago and not hold a tournament for a new champion.  He then demanded to know why Zack Ryder isn't featured on Raw.  Triple H told Punk there was a new regime and he should call them.

WWE cameras were present for ComicCon.l

Does any other promotion have the money to pay him in 2011?  Pillman had the luxury of starting a bidding war in 1996.

Being jealous of WWE has been the modus operandi of TNA practically 100% of the time since it began.

The bullhorn was genius... I still like the fact he is taking the belt everywhere with him like it's the Stanley Cup.

I do to except they took the John Cena name plate off, which now makes it look like a replica he is carrying around, instead of the "true" WWE title

Don't think so. I was joking anyway. Cutting Pillman for the sake of working the boys only to lose him to the WWF was one of Bischoff's dumber moves.
