Maybe I missed it on here. Has anybody read the new Dick Slater book "1,000 Lives: Autobiography of Richard Van "Dirty Dick" Slater"? The reviews are awful for this book. Meltzer hasn't reviewed that book. Dave rarely reviews books anymore.

That review on Amazon makes it sound awful. Maybe if my local library gets it down the road I'll check it out. I've gone that route before it has definitely saved me from wasting my money.
