I'm thinking about guys who were big names in the WWF/E who left and never came back, at least for a cameo, in any form.

I don't think they ever brought Brutus Beefcake back for anything. At one point he was arguably the number two or three babyface in the company.

Ken Shamrock is another one who was a top guy during the Attitude era who hasn't been brought back.

I'm not sure of the political machinations regarding either guy, but it seems strange that neither guy has been brought back back when guys like Kamala, Sid and others have been brought back in at various times.

Who else has the WWF/E more or less written off?

Macho Man was the best case example. So much so that I didn't even feel he was worth mentioning.

Good one. The only question is whether his WWF/E career was rich enough to merit a treaured spot in WWE history.

Plus he kind of let himself go. I kind of think they qouldn't be real keen on bringing hin back as a fat guy.

Lex Luger and Madusa both screwed Vince at the start of the Nitro era and were never brought back. Luger was actually interviewed for the NWO DVD, so I guess he's been forgiven to a certain extent. I don't think that counts though since he hasn't appeared on an actual show.

If Luger was brought in for a DVD it counts. It's not like they could bring him in for anything physical.

The bottom line is they did give him a payday. He wasn't totally blacklisted.

I'm not sure if Jeff Jarrett counts, since he did leave, and was brought back later. But, after the last exit where he held Vince up for ransom to do a job for Chyna on his way out the door, he'll never be brought back again. EVER.

Ultimate Warrior was brought back briefly during the Monday Night Wars but hasn't been seen in McMahonland since.

He was in WCW for 5 seconds as Big T and no one even remembers. He looked terrible, was always a sloppy worker, and brought nothing to the table at that point.
