I need to keep a list on the old timey Europeans death hoaxes. Best thing was Wladek Zbyszko prior to his first tour outside of Russia. "Zbyszko dead!" as a headline, supposedly it was Stanislaus and a couple of days there was a retraction, it was just Wladek who did a stretcher job, Kiev IIRC. Interestingly the newspaper in question immediately assumed this was a marketing gag to push Wladeks debut in the city a couple of weeks later. LOL Wrestling ![]()
