2/11/77 Lynchburg, VA @ City Armory
Paul Jones beat US Champion Blackjack Mulligan dq when Mulligan jumped off the top rope onto Jones
Dino Bravo beat Brute Bernard
Danny Miller & Ron Starr beat Jacques Goulet & Mr X
Lanny Poffo beat Joey Rossi
Bobby Williams beat Randy Poffo
Note: In the Lynchburg newspaper, promoter Peter Apostalu debunked a Ric Flair death rumor stating Flair was hospitalized, was not in serious condition and was not killed in a match with Wahoo McDaniel last week.

*sigh*

Harley had a career injury in a no rules match versus Hogan (he landed badly on a table) and Heenan said he was "dead" so Haku became the new King, but weeks (or months) later Harley came back to reclaim the title and made his last match (i think). WWF TV showed him floating in the clouds and stuff.

Undertaker is supposed to be a fucking zombie.  Or something.  I sort of lost track a while ago.

I need to keep a list on the old timey Europeans death hoaxes.

Best thing was Wladek Zbyszko prior to his first tour outside of Russia. "Zbyszko dead!" as a headline, supposedly it was Stanislaus and a couple of days there was a retraction, it was just Wladek who did a stretcher job, Kiev IIRC. Interestingly the newspaper in question immediately assumed this was a marketing gag to push Wladeks debut in the city a couple of weeks later. LOL Wrestling :D
