This was the event in which Bundy and Studd double-teamed Andre and supposedly broke his sternum back in 1985.

First off, what was going on with what looked to be his sternum appearing to be broken.  Did it always look like that but we never noticed it?  Was it a recent prior injury that they used to their advantage for this angle?

Andre's crocodile tears also seemed odd for the interview below. You would think that he would be pissed not crying.  It all just seemed weird even back then.

Over at KM, they were asking when did Andre lose his aura?  He looked pretty shot in the ring by this point in his career for me.

Who is the guy interviewing Andre in the video below?

I was thinking that, but then it did and didn't look like him.

It's from Maple Leaf Gardens, I remember the show. The ref is John Bonello, who would go on to infamy for hiring a hitman to kill his wife.

Yes, that is Billy Red Lyons.

Has that house show ever been shown on 24/7? I would love to have a copy of it. Great angle, which I guess started Bundy;s monster role, and led to Wrestlemania 2.

Okay, now does anybody know the story behind that big bump in Andre's chest?

Does anybody know how I can communicate with coodeville?  He may have the answer about the supposed sternum bump?   He knew about Bruno's hair plug!

Andre started to look unhealthy and slow even before the haircut, but still had the aura. After the haircut, though not due to the angle itself, he seemed to lose something. He looked even unhealthier and slower. By the Wrestlemania 2 battle royal, it was actually painful to watch him, his movements were so slow and laborious.

From what I read somewhere along the line, Andre hurt his back pretty badly around this time, and it got worse and worse up to Wrestlemania 2.  When he left as a Machine, he was in really bad shape almost quit completely but ended up getting back surgery, which is what made him able to wrestle Hogan at Wrestlemania 3.  This could be total bullshit, and also doesn't explain the lump on his chest (which at the time, I truly believed was a broken sternum even though as a 13 year old I knew better).
