I have a roster of WWE guys from 1984-1992 in the "Universe" game mode.  Here is my how they entered:

1)   Jake Roberts
2)   Ted DiBiase
3)   Paul Orndorff
4)   Rick Rude
5)   Jimmy Snuka
6)   Earthquake
7)   Jim Neidhart
8)   Hillbilly Jim
9)   Ric Flair
10) Bob Orton
11) Hercules
12) Greg Valentine
13) Ultimate Warrior
14) Akeem
15) Big John Studd
16) Big Boss Man
17) Tito Santana
18) Typhoon
19) Roddy Piper
20) Harley Race
21) Bret Hart
22) Chainsaw Charlie
23) Kamala
24) Hacksaw Jim Duggan
25) Junk Yard Dog
26) Don Muraco
27) Randy Savage
28) Haku
29) Brutus Beefcake
30) Hulk Hogan

Hogan wins it, last eliminating Randy Savage.  He gets a shot at World Champion Andre The Giant.  Also noteworthy on this card, The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff successfully defended the tag titles against Strike Force, and The Honky Tonk Man successfully defended the Intercontinental Title against Don Muraco with help from Jimmy Hart lol.

If you set this game up right it's not too bad.

The servers really turned Me off from the game. I tried to put together an AWA roster from the late 70's & early 80's and it was impossible due to the servers.

Yeah they were awful for a while when THQ was going out of business.  "2k" bought out WWE's game contract and took over the servers.  Since then I have had a lot more success.  I have all 50 slots filled with guys I downloaded, along with about 20 different arenas.  I especially like the "80's TV WWF Ring" and the Saturday Night's Main Event Rings.  They have awesome lighting/banners.

So I don't get it, when you did the Royal Rumble did you control one of the wrestlers and also for the other matches on that card...Or was it all cpu simulation?

I still even had trouble after 2K Sports took over. I have some Wcw/Crockett arenas, USWA, WCCW, New Japan, All Japan, Noah, AWA. Some really nice stuff out there.
