The first 18 discs are from WGN Chicago and the last 7 discs are from WCBS New York. This was the year that The Dangerous Alliance formed so it's fun to watch that develop but it sucks to see the last good version of The Four Horsemen ( Flair, AA, Windham and Sid ) dissolve quietly without much fanfare.
Was Jack Brickhouse (old timey WGN Chicago Cubs, Sox, Bears announcer) still doing his "Brickhouse Memories" on the early '91 Pro shows? I know he did them in late '90 for a bit.

He's definitely on some of the 91 episodes. I can tell you the exact dates if you want.

I haven't watched much wrestling in the last few years, but my brother gave me the Mid South DVD set from WWE. I watched Dibiase vs. Orndorff and Andre, JYD, and Dusty vs. Samoans and Ladd. I then watched some of Magnum T.A. trying to break open a bag with a knee lift.
I honestly forgot how much I loved Mid South.

Rewatched some Mitsuharu Misawa matches recently.

This weekend, I'm probably going to watch the Idol/Rich v Lawler feud.

I have a very tough time watching Misawa considering the way he died.
Watching his matches, you basically see him slowly killing himself before our eyes.

I watched a 46 minute 2 out 3 fall match from 1971 between Strong Kobayashi and Giant Russimoff. Not bad. One spot where Shozo bodyslammed Andre like he was a rag doll. I then went to a couple of Dick the Bruiser matches from the WWA circa 1965 with Emil Dupree and Dennis Hall. Bruiser sucked.

I've been trying to watch the full card of Jan 84 when Hogan won the title. It's been about a week, and I am 4 matches in. There was a Chief Jay Strongbow vs Masked Supe match that I actually enjoyed. Also, I cannot for the life of me remember the Invaders at that time, but they were on the card vs Fuji and Saito in a boring draw, that ended with the silly 4 man seasaw or whatever its called. Fell asleep twice during the Putuski vs Slaughter match...which is where I will pick it up in the next couple days.

Saito was in the WWF at the time?  I could swear he was wrestling in the AWA with Dr. D and Jesse Ventura as tag partners.
Edit - it was Tiger Chung Lee.

Coliseum Home Videos- "Amazing Managers" from late 1985 and Ricky Steamboat from early '86. Steamboat tape has two really good, albeit clipped, matches with Steamboat vs. Valentine (MSG for IC title, summer '85) and vs. Beefcaake at MLG (two really cool false-finishes where they bring the house lights up and then take them back down). Love these old CHVs. I saw the Steamboat one years ago but forgot how good it was.

I've been watching a two disc compilation of the ECW vs. USWA feud. Really good, violent stuff. I had forgotten how nuts that got.

Did the ECW guys ever make an appearance in the Memphis studios? We got USWA here in Chicago through the summer of '97 and then lost it during the beginning of that feud.

Watched the CHV Inside the Steel Cage today.  Lots of fun old school stuff.   Used to have this on tape....haven't watched it in probably a good 20 years or so.  LOVED the Pat Patterson vs. Bob Backlund cage match from MSG (think it was from late '79).  Crowd was totally over for Backlund.  Had kind of a Bret vs. Owen Summerslam '94 feel to it, and probably because Patterson had his imprint on that.  Lots of other good stuff (Tito vs. Valentine title change in Baltimore, Piper vs. Bruno from Boston in early '86).  Andre destroys Kamala from MLG too.

Tommy Dreamer and Beulah did. I want to say Sandman did also but not 100% Sure on that.
