I want you to post your thoughts on the episodes every single day, and we'll track your intelligence through your writings like in "Flowers For Algernon".  By the time you get to mid-1999, you're just going to be throwing your own feces at the monitor.

I've just started 1997. I'm gonna start live-tweeting it for shits and giggles and to amuse some of my friends. Join in at @krisswrestling if you're at all interested.

Good stuff on Nitro at the time as I remember we go it twice on the West Coast.

Watching the full MSG card when Shieky Baby wins the title. He must have been pretty nervous that night - he was sweating buckets!
Also enjoyed the six man tag btwn Samoans and Jones/Atlas/Johnson. Ive always been a Snuka mark so I loved the Snuka/Skaaland vs Muraco/Albano too.
Patooski vs Masked Superstar was terrible, but my God I forgot how massive Patooski was for such a small guy.
Slaughter was also on the card - always loved his matches, even terrible ones like this one against Chief Jay.
Sal Bellomo went twenty min (!!) with Tiger Chung lee.
Being of eye-talian descent I laughed at Bellomo's post match interview which was half English half wop.

Good stuff! We were ordering most of these WWE PPV's at the time ( '95-'96 ) and aside from maybe one match, there were mostly the shits.

Looking back, I think WCW, even with the hokey Hogan vs. Dungeon of Doom feud, was more of a watchable product. Luger as a tweener, Sting/Flair/Arn/Pillman, the additions of Sabu ( briefly ), Benoit, Eddie, and Dean, and Nitro being live, all made things better than WWE.

Raw has a battle royal, a debut and a title match - Nitro has a Giant and a even bigger block of ice!

Without the WWE channel and likely no network, for a year or more in Canada, all I have are my DVDs, which aren't much!

I've been working on"the world's greatest cage matches."  My wife bought this one for me as a surprise when it first came out.  I must've forgot I had it because I watched disc one right away, and I've been working on disc two and three.

some of these 2000s matches aren't much to be desired and they seem to have superstars in back to back matches??  Good variety!  LOLz
