Well, he certainly sucked at it.  Even in cartoonland era WWF the fans wouldn't cheer for that shit.  I must admit he was a hatable heel.

The NJPW 2018 G1 Climax tournament live on New Japan World.

There is currently only 1 hour time difference between Japan and Australia. Even during daylight saving time, there is only 2 hours time difference. :)

Random shit that caused me to laugh out loud and wake up the house the other night. Watching an MSG show from I believe July of ‘84 when Moolah lost the belt to Richter. At one point Moolah throws Richter out onto the announce table. A little bit of confusion on the part of Gorilla and Lord Alfred. Richter’s kinda laying there on the table and Alfred is pushing her back onto the apron. Gorilla’s like “Cmon get her back in the ring, ref, do your job.” Pause, Okerlund busts out, “I’ll help!!!”

I have been watching a bunch of Nitros and WCW Saturday Nights. I miss WCW. back then everyone liked to crap on WCW. but it was never as bad as the Dave Meltzers of the world would have you think. it wasn't perfect but WWF wasn't either. I wish we could go back in time to those days. we can sort of with the old reruns but wrestling was never the same after WCW was bought. its also a little depressing seeing all the wrestlers/Managers that are gone now too.

I recently watched German fan favorites 2 (94) and UK fan favorites (93 I believe) on the network.

Gorilla and Stan had mouth Jerry Jarrett on GFF2 during the Jeff match saying he recently disappeared.

On UKFF during the Tito v Martel match Ross and Gorilla go on and on about Martel being a former IC champ.

Both tapes featured a Undertaker v Bigelow match; it was 2 different matches but it was very similar.

Both are good tapes for that time frame and had a couple of matches I’d never seen before. The GFF2 had more recycled footage Bret v Shawn cage match that was on another CHV and the Bret v Yoko match from WMX and some Raw matches but still good. Hopefully they add the candian fan favorites CHV from 95 that was one of those rare CHV’s.

What time frame were you watching?

http://culturecrossfire.com/wrestling/wrasslin-back-in-the-day-may-1985-part-3/

Part 3 of my look back at May of 1985 includes the story of how three WWF stars bucked the system and went to work for the territories without Vince McMahon's approval.

The WWF snags two Florida stars as their quest for national dominance continues.

. Kamala continues his vagabond lifestyle as he appears and disappears from another headline spot.

A legend begins his long road to the world title. World Class puts on a huge tag team spectacular in Texas Stadium.

Mike Von Erich is arrested.

The WWF draws a smaller crowd than many indy shows do today as the Fed continues to invade Dallas.

WTBS and Bill Watts split.

ESPN's wrestling time slot is the new desire for every promotion dreaming of competing with the WWF and JCP.

Watts finds a new black Superman.

Jim Crockett begans demolitioning the NWA infrastructure.

Rumors have Tully Blanchard leaving JCP to work for an old friend.

Plus other news, notes and results!

I just finished the 2-20-82 episode of MACW tv on the network and it ended with an interview featuring Ole, Stan and Gene. Gene flubbed and called Stan private Nelson and Stan yelled at him. Did Gene have some kind of a tick or disorder? His face was twitching while he was on screen?
