Been watching Prime Times from January of 1989. Pretty decent run. There’s the episode where Rooster gets clobbered by the Brooklyn Brawler and then a two week set from the “old west” movie set where Herman is involved in a bunch of silly stunts (doesn’t hold up very well at all, kinda drags). Sam Houston wins a squash match with the same finish two weeks in a row, once against Danny Davis and then Horowitz. Everything is leading to the Feb 3 main even and pretty much foreshadowed Macho heel turn.

But I wanted to mention a guy who doesn’t hold up at all- face Brutus Beefcake. The overall look of this guy in ‘89 coupled with the awful work in the ring makes this guy unwatchable.

- The Road Warriors dictate their own bookings to their boss, Verne Gagne.
- The Warriors hard ball another promoter, who vows to never book them again due to their business practices.

- Ron Garvin and Kabuki provide Ambien in wrestling form.
- Les Thornton steals the show in a grappling clinic.
- A champion is absolutely destroyed, yet he keeps his title due to ridiculous bylaws.
- Mr. Wrestling II attempts to fight his doppelganger

Watching the Prime Times leading up to Wrestlemania 5 and the buildup to Hogan/Savage. Man, Hogan comes off like an ass with the stuff regarding Liz. I think Macho had a point. That fucker did have lust in his eyes.

Watching The old WWf NBC specials. My 5 year old daughter cracked up big time over the twin referee angle and Hulk's promo afterward.

Earl Hebner had no moral character. Guy would do anything for 100 bucks, including plastic surgery.
