In today's WWE 2018 earnings release, the company announced that paid subscriptions to their WWE Network streaming service have risen to "approximately" 1.59 million paid subscribers. WWE noted in the release they are developing the "next iteration" of the Network, which likely means the long-planned tiered version.

Even if it's not the tiered system, they need to update the site because it runs on Flash, which is being discontinued.

Seems like a lifetime ago in a way.

It was, and that was 2 million paid. They’ve probably barely exceeded 1 million paid with all their freebies, especially this time of year.

Regardless of my feelings about the current product the network is crazy awesome and I think at this point the only people left to add to that number are the old time fans that are still holding out for “their” territory to be added The E is always going to have a churn with the current fans although they may see an upswing here if wrestling becomes cool again with the E possibly having some competition. I’m looking forward to the tiered system as I’d gladly pay a few extra bucks for additional old footage or access to Evolve or some other E friendly indies.
