Were the missing 1986 Crockett Cup matches not recorded or is there known to be an issue of the tapes either being damaged, destroyed or lost?

I just watched the Flair vs. Rich Omni show that is on the network. I actually enjoy no commentary honestly. Going to look at the 1st Crockett Cup next.

Digging into Crockett Cup 86 now. Never dreamed I would get to see so much of the card. After this I need to continue with Mid-South and Mid-Atlantic as I progress towards the mid-80s. Last edited on Tue Jul 2nd, 2019 12:20 am by sportatorium roach |

This week's Hidden Gems presentation is two cards from the '86 Great American Bash tour, the 7/5/86 Charlotte event headlined by the Ric Flair-Ricky Morton cage match, and the 7/26/86 Greensboro event headlined by Ric Flair-Dusty Rhodes. Each runs just a little under 3 hours.

That summer of ‘86 period is super fun to watch. Dusty did hotshot the fuck out of things and it got stale by early ‘87.
