Yeah I’m pretty excited about this drop. WCWSN was awfully good around this period.

It's 99% official that NXT is going to USA on Wednesday nights for 2 hours, which almost certainly means Vince McMahon involvement and a 30 day delay on the Network.

RIP WWE Network

This is really terrible news for NXT.  If you were to ask me how to kill NXT in the shortest amount of time, I'd say expand it to 2 hours and give it more Vince visibility.

One of the best things going for NXT is its taping schedule. Because they tape three episodes in one day and it's very rare for anyone to wrestle more than once per taping, you get a natural break between seeing anyone wrestle, so more guys get a chance, and you never get tired of anyone. On the main roster, guys are sometimes having three TV matches a week, I don't think any NXT wrestler gets more than 20 matches a year. Even that's probably a very high estimate.

As long as the Network continues to air the ppvs and Takeovers for "free", they should be fine.

That's fine if you are in the US and get the USA network. In Europe, WWE is always on expensive premium sports channels, which are absolutely not worth it if you don't want the football (soccer) that is the bulk of their programming. It always amazes me that content providers are still encouraging people to pirate stuff with their restrictions.

In other news, there was no announcement about NXT last night. The newz sites have kept quiet about that today.

If they kept it at 1 hr I think it would be OK. 2 hrs would be total overkill

I’m surprised this wasn’t already dropped since it’s essentially a clash of the champions before that was a thing.

Either way I love how they are filling in these years.

if Vince is going to be involved in NXT on Wednesday, Raw on Monday, Smackdown on Friday, XFL business then he is pushing it to a level that is insane at his age.

Another WWE Network documentary is on the way! Following NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff next Saturday, a new special will air titled Exotic: The Story of Adrian Street and Miss Linda. Adrian Street is a legendary star of the wrestling business and also happens to be someone many hoped would be a part of NXT UK behind the scenes since it was announced. He had recently helped train at the UK Performance Center. He is perhaps best known for his flamboyant persona, although he is highly regarded as one of the better and more underrated talents of his time.
When the WWE Network first launched, this kind of content is what many had hoped for and expected out of the on-demand service. 2019 has had a plethora of documentary style programs, and this will likely satisfy many subscribers. As a reminder, this will air following NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff on August 31st.
Below is the synopsis for the upcoming special:
Exotic: The Story of Adrian Street and Miss LindaBritish sports-entertainment legend Adrian Street reflects on his life and career in and out of the ring. Join him as he relives his journey to becoming one of the most outlandish and polarizing Superstars in history, and witness his emotional experience coaching at the WWE Performance Center in the United Kingdom

I believe the 1987 version aired on WWE 24/7.  I've seen that one.  Not sure this one ever made it into the rotation, so this is very cool to fill in that gap.  Both programs aired in place of the old Sat Night show.
