Are they the complete cards? The ones they threw up when it launched just had a few matches. I want all the gloriously shitty undercard

I haven't cross-checked each show with match listings but if they aren't complete, they're pretty close.  There is a disclaimer at the beginning of some of the shows that they are presented as complete as possible, due to original technical difficulties.

The MSG shows were just to shut up all you nerds who like old-timey rassling. This months classic content drop will be the start of WWE's ECW.

I have to go look but I think those MSG shows were on 'Classics On Demand' a few years back. Nothing new. Am I wrong?

If they want some of us old timer nerds to shut up, they better load some cards from the Spectrum as well, preferably cards that were not on Classics on Demand.

Some of us old timer nerds aren't above throwing empty glass beer bottles at Vince's limo on the way by.  He better come correct or else!

Stupid question:  WWF owns all of their footage, and they controlled everything that was broadcast on MSG (and I think that Vince had a relationship with the Dolans and Cablevision back in the day that had him owning 1-2% of Cablevision in the early '80s).  BUT my question is, did WWF own the footage that was broadcast on Spectrum?  We all know that they owned the content, but did they actually take possession of the master tapes like they did with the MSG tapes?  This could be the reason why we don't see Philly cards on the Network or too many from the 24/7 days.  It's possible that whomever purchased Spectrum back in the day just tossed everything and WWF hadn't taken possession.

Good question.  I just went back and looked, I recorded 11 shows from the Spectrum off of Classics on Demand between 2007-2014.  There certainly were more than that.  If they would load that many shows, I am under the assumption that they have control of the footage.  But I don't know for sure.

Somebody must have been working on the music edits and closed captioning, and they figured after a certain amount of shows they could just start loading them.  I am hoping it's from 1984-1985, because we need those in high quality.

Happy to hear about more wccw, it's been a while since I've watched Gino and Chris matches.

Seeing World Class in a full run for '84, '85 and maybe the first half of '86 would be incredible.
