Hope he doesn't mind me posting this, our own Steve Frye, aka Hammer, took a bit of an unscheduled nap last night in Thomasville, NC. BTW  He and I were both at a show today in Asheville, NC, and I asked him about his health and he said he us doing very well.:)

Boogie put him out cold. Which is better than what he did to Hammer on Thanksgiving night, when he " checked his oil".

Dude is legit a really nice guy, well thought of by all the guys, and is a damn good manager, I got to ref a match once where he was the heel manager, that was a lot of fun.

Does Boogie Woogie still hang out with Bruce Pobanz (former world champion)?

I think for the good of his health, Hammer needs to watch his food intake.

Come on now - everybody knows that the camera adds about 10 lbs. And you know with Valiant on the card there were lots of cameras there.

Looking like a cross between Ronnie P. Gossett and Billy Gardell...

Might be time to look at your health, my man...

It isn't healthy for anyone to carry that weight..

Moral of the story: cancer and/or heart disease gets thoughts and/or prayers.

Moral of the story for me is there aren't people that look like that living to be 70 or 80 years old..

Trying to smarten him up and encourage him to make lifestyle changes that will keep him around for longer.

I have walked a mile in those shoes. Used to be a near 300-pounder with high blood pressure in my 20s.

Now, I'm past 30 with regular blood pressure and weighing almost half what I did due to lifestyle changes and exercise.

I hate to see anyone committing a passive suicide by not taking care of themselves.

He's exercising by engaging in high-stakes combat against all-time legend Jimmy Valiant.  I don't know what more you guys want.  We're talking about indy rasslin in North Carolina.  They only allow finely tuned athletes in dem dar rings.  I'd like to see any of you guys battle the "Boogie Woogie Man" and live to tell about it.
