There were a good number of WWF house show matches in the late '70's-early '80s that were so bad that they were totally business-exposing and you had to be a retard to still believe after watching them.  A lot of these guys make Fandango look like Lou Thesz and it's pretty annoying to hear old-timey snobs knock the past couple of generations when they blow less spots in a year than many older wrestlers did in a match.

This is true as well.  One of the offenders was a green Curt Hennig in his first WWF run and he was pretty bad for missing spots and in a way that exposed the business.

I have always preferred Prime Time Wrestling to Monday night Raw

WCW shouldn't have retired the US Tag Titles

The WWF should have had a Light Heavyweight Title in the 80's. (that was actually defended in the WWF)

Never got the Roman Reigns hate. He's not that bad from what I've seen.

As best I can tell, the Reigns hate revolves 75% around fans simply not wanting to cheer babyfaces getting the big push, and 25% around thst sufferin' succotash promo where he came across as cheesier than Cena. In other words, none of it is really his fault excep maybe not having the guts to say no.

The Moondogs sucked. The gimmick was ridiculous.

They fit in great in Memphis, in the WWF not so much.

Pedro Morales - Stunk

Demolition - Stunk (Road Warrior ripoffs. I did not like Darsow in any character.)

Me neither for some reason.  I'd much rather watch Demolition.

I have no doubt that Harley Race is a tough guy, but as a wrestler I found him slow and plodding while his appearance with the permed hair, mutton chops, and big gut made me wonder how this guy was World Champion for so long. He just didn't look the part.

The Crash TV era Raw from 1997 to 1999 hasn't always aged well, but it was a lot of fun at the time and is mostly fun looking back, even if it's through a nostalgic lens. Vince Russo has taken so much heat for what he's done in WCW and TNA since then that I think he's denied proper credit for what he accomplished then. Yes, he had Vince McMahon and others editing him, and by necessity. However, it's not like he never came up with any good ideas or accomplished nothing in that era.

The AWA was my hometown promotion. I have a soft sport for my youth and love watching the old interviews, which to most fans really made the show more than the action. However, the AWA's TV show was poorly formatted and produced even pre 1984 and its 99% squash match set up with very few angles has aged very poorly.

I'm a born sucker for bad pro wrestling comedy. As a result, I liked Jimmy Valiant and was very entertained by his feud with Paul Jones and his various charges. For the most part Valiant was facing guys who had no business being in the mix higher up the card, so there was no harm done by any of this.

Everyone knows that.

I think you're both underselling Strongbow based on his late 70s early 80s tenure.  In the early 70s he was Number 2 (no jokes) behind Pedro who also didn't suck then but did late in his career.  Putski, I agree 100%
