Numerous sources have confirmed to PWInsider that Finn Balor suffered a concussion last night against Jinder Mahal on Raw, his first singles bout back since returning to WWE TV.

There is no word yet how long Balor may be out.

WWE has not officially acknowledged the injury as of this writing.

Hmmmmm....... that is terrible news for him.  He looks as if he should be on the 205 show anyway.

I love that "numerous sources have confirmed to PWInsider" yet all you had to do is watch the video to see he was concussed.

In reality WWE's doctors should have stopped the match. It was obvious, and even more obvious in the numerous replays he was knocked out.

Is there video of the match online? I guess I wasn't paying close attention the first time.

Thanks for posting. It seemed a lot worse on the replay and he was only on jelly legs for a few seconds and then seemed fine, so I don't think it was obvious that he was concussed immediately at all.

Yeah, I was just going to say- on the replay, the blow looks bad, and what also looks bad is his fall to the mat where his head almost hits unprotected, face first. Jarring to watch.

I know every concussion is a big deal nowadays but it looks like he got his bell rung. As opposed to a all out I don't know my name and where I am type concussion.

Saying some just got their bell rung in sports today is tantamount with calling a tranny by the wrong pronoun on a college campus. People legitimately lose their shit like you've raped their kids.  This will be treated very seriously and I imagine Balor will be out for about a month.

Getting your bell rung comes with contact, I imagine this is going to be a reoccurring thing with him unless he can figure out how to better hide it. He might want to look at another career.

When his face falls directly into the mat, without putting his hands up. That is a signed that he is momentarily knocked out. Any time you are knocked out signals that you've been concussed.

Watch the replay, his hands to his side with his face going directly into the mat. In MMA if a fighter is hit and falls like that, the referee should stop the fight immediately. That is a clear sign they are knocked unconscious.

I wish people and coaches were more attentive when I played football. I've had around 7 playing football and another 2 playing hockey. Concussions aren't the joke you are making it out to be. I'm assuming that you never played sports and got hurt by the way you are making fun of it.
