Footage of Savage as 'Mr Madness' is pretty cool

What was the deal with that again?

Well, the jobber matches are technically extras.

I don't think he had been reinstated from forced retirement yet by Jack Tunney.

By the way, the title of this set is actually 1986-95. Not 85-93.

I asked Tito if he was told to try and get Warlord and Barbarian over as babyfaces. He said 'No'. "

Just picked this up today.  This is the first WWE DVD I have been interested in for years.

Watching The Machines & Hulkamachine vs. Studd, Bundy, and Heenan.  No commentary, and you can hear the crowd reaction to the match.  So far so good.

I'm under the assumption this thing came out yesterday, and I picked up the last copy at my Walmart.  I find that interestng.  The Kevin Owens, Kurt Angle, and Seth Rollins dvd's still remain in pretty large quantities.

Yeah, so far it is great.  Watching Pedro Morales vs. Savage now.  Great picture quality for something this old.  Maybe it just looks good next to the crappy picture quality I get streaming off of the Network through my PS3.

If WWE put out a dvd like this every 3 months I would buy every single one.

Next match is Hogan and Piper vs. Harley and Orndorff.  Heenan is there too, which is great.  Looks like a taping from Wrestling Challenge.

Hogan and Piper in their heyday.

This thing is selling out in a lot of places. Amazon took too many preorders and I wound up fucked over on a copy for yesterday when it came out. I got one off eBay but need to wait until Friday for it.

Amazon has it as #1 in Sports beyond it being Sold Out. But of course, "no one" cares about classic footage and they should never release more.

Just saw this was finally released. Just checked availability at the two nearest Best Buy's, and they're both almost sold out. Will probably head out after 8:00pm to pick this up.
