Rumored first 5 members of the 2018 #WWE Hall Of Fame
Most of the names for the 2018 class are out. Conservative blogger Brad Shepard, the same guy who broke the news about the potential #XFL revival, is reporting that a former WCW/WWE Champion is next.

 Here is the list:
Bill Goldberg – headliner
Bam Bam Bigelow – WWE has a rule to only induct one deceased wrestler each year
Ivory – WWE has a rule to induct at least one woman every year
Dudely Boyz – one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history
Kid Rock – celebrity inductee. He’s had a friendship with WWE for years dating back to the late 90’s.

I'm guessing like Meltzer's list last year that few of these actually get in.

I would be surprised if they put in Kid Rock right now given the political climate and how divisive that would be.

Dudleys rumor is strictly based on Bully retiring this weekend. They’re going in but I don’t know about this year.

Goldberg has always seemed like a lock for over a year.

Bigelow is an interesting choice. As hyped as he was when he came in and as much talent as he had, looking back on his career, he really didn't leave a lasting impression. Never really held a world title. The biggest moment was when he held LT's hand through the Wrestlemania main event, but geez. I feel like we're saying this every year, but they're really running out of guys that truly deserve it.

He was huge for ECW fans.  I saw him beat Shane Douglas live for the ECW world title and the place came unglued.  And his feud with Taz over the ECW TV title was big too.  I think of him as an ECW star first and foremost.  He was never used like he should've been in WWE or WCW.

I'd be really happy to see Bigelow and Lisa Moretti get in.

I was always a fan of Bigelow. Namely his mid 90's run in the WWF and of course his awesomeness in ECW.

I always thought he should have stayed in the WWF longer and been used better as a top tier guy. I always wanted to see him in the mix for the WWF title with guys like Hart, HBK, Sid, Undertaker, Austin, etc.
....But, his great run in ECW wouldn't have happened if he had of stayed in the WWF into the 'Attitude Era".

And as srossi said he should have been used better in WCW too. I was really hyped when he debuted, but of course the powers that be at the time fucked it up and let him lose any steam he had going.

The Clique made sure he was not going to get a push in WWE.

Yeah, those assholes were a big thorn in his side as he was very vocal in expressing his dislike for the group and the stroke they had with Vince.

IIRC, Bigelow was one of many legit bad-asses over the years who nearly killed Michaels but he was saved by his buddies. The Harris Twins were among the others he’s very lucky he managed to get away from.

With the most infamous being "Mr. I don't job for anybody", doing the job for Bret in the locker room in what was described as "Hair vs. Hair Match"

The Harris Twins incident was when they were Jacob and Eli Blu I believe. Weren't they fired over that?
When they were brought back as part of D.O.A., was that after Wrestlemania 14 when The Boy Toy jobbed out to Austin and took his leave of absence?

They were back before that in 1997.

Roughly when did they give "The Sexy Boy" that infamous stern talking to?

I can't really remember The Harris Twins timeline in the WWF.

It happened a few days before Shawn got his ass kicked in Syracuse, so it was October 1995. I think they were already on their way out of the company anyway so they said "fuck it, what are they going to do to us?"

I wonder how HBK acted around them once they returned both times in '96 as The Grimm Twins and the '97 D.O.A. run. I forgot all about The Grimm Twins.  I only remembered when I just checked their wiki page.
I also wonder what was said by office about the whole incident?

Was Bam Bam a bad ass? I think it was Bruce who said Bam Bam quit the WWF in 88 because Andre was being mean to him and didn’t Bam Bam say Vader was a bully when they teamed in Japan?
