I can’t believe after all this time has passed WWE is still going back to the Bullet Club well one more time and have officially made Balor, Anderson, and Gallows a faction. With all the thousands of non-WWE gimmicks and angles over the years that WWE could’ve referenced or played off of, this is the one they continually beat to death even after the smart fans have stopped caring about it much. I’m glad they finally gave Anderson and Gallows a push but I just don’t get why Vince loves this group so much, especially since it started as a DX/NWO mock joke. Part of me wonders if Vince just can’t get over the fact that Bullet Club shirts are selling out at Hot Topic, which to me seems like something that only 13-year old girls and Vince would care about.

And yes ladies and gentleman, Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga got name-checked on Raw in 2018 (but don’t you dare take a selfie with the Young Bucks).

Is Balor a heel now? I must've missed something.

At least they are giving Balor something to do. They gave him the Universal Title, he got hurt badly in the match, and since then he's been almost nothing.

No, Anderson and Gallows are faces now (with no explanation).

I could be in the minority here but I think Gallows and Anderson will work as faces.  I think the matchups will be fresh too, if they allow them to do anything.

I think they're talented enough to work either way, especially Anderson, but they have been so completely buried since day one that it's going to be a tough sell.  And it's not like Balor has been booked in a way that he can elevate anyone either.  It doesn't help that the entire basis for this push is based on them being over in Japan without WWE ever explaining what the fuck they're alluding to.

Yeah, the whole segment was odd.  Reigns and Rollins are faces too.  Other than mocking Jason Jordan, I don't think the crowd quite knew what to do with it.

I was more into Braun giving out the most gentle looking backstage attempted murder ever. Complete with annoying Hollywood cutaway shots to Heyman making "I'm so shocked" faces.

Yeah, he has several outside the ring moments now with this, ambulance flipping, powerslamming Axel through the announce table, etc.

WWE loves nicknames.  The Big Dog, the Architect, the Viper.  Given their marketing approach, maybe Braun needs a cheesy one too.  Monster among men is no good here since he basically tries to PG kill everybody.

Suggestions?

You had Reigns and Jordan being faces who the fans hate, Anderson and Gallows being heels turned face for no reason, and Rollins and Balor being booked a little bit lower down the card than they should be, so it was definitely a weird dynamic.

Braun?  The razor.  Obviously.

And if that's too close to Ramon, the eraser.

Those are good ones.  I also though maybe he could be "The Backstage Bruiser" Braun Strowman.  Or maybe "Body Bag Braun."

Braunamania

If they go with body bag Braun they could shorten it to 3b and have a built in angle with 3h

Vince's obsession with the Bullet Club is because of the number of shirts he sees every Monday night.

It steams from Hot Topic going to WWE about securing an agreement with them to distribute "Bullet Club" t-shirts at their stores. When the licensing department, where Vince puts a lot of time with had to tell them they didn't own it I imagine that really stuck with him.
