**Johnny Evans, who was better known to wrestling fans Reginald Love of the Love Brothers tag team, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 90. The Love Brothers tag team consisted of Reginald (Evans) and Hartford Love (Wes Hutchings). The two started their careers off separately and were put together by promoters Johnny Powers and Pedro Martinez in Buffalo as a pair of hippies with a heavy psychedelic vibe to their presentation. As a heel tag team, the two drew enormous heat and spent most of their careers in Southern Ontario and in the Northeast U.S although they did travel around. Evans continued until back problems ultimately ended his in-ring career and he transitioned into acting. Evans had been in a nursing home over the past number of year and was suffering from dementia.
