beej,

Were you the one who had always wanted to see the third Executioner match, again?

That show may be coming up in the timespan for the WWWF shows to be aired on the WWE network.

I do think you should get to see one of your favorite tag teams.... White Wolf & Strongbow.

I've alkready contacted Hammetime and he for sure thinks I'm an out of control crack addict, er, WWWF TV addict.

That match would be so wonderful !!!!

It probably doesn't hold up over time -- but it sure was great at the time

Yeah, but it was a year short for the Arion heel turn storyline and the end title run of The Valiants. ‘75 was a great year.

I'm not saying this to piss on anyone's corn flakes. I'm going to stick to my guns on what I've been saying for years. I don't think there is anything magical in Vince's vault that hasn't been seen already by the tape trading community going back to VCR Times. Plus the fact that they are only putting up about 70 hours of content from the 70's leads me to believe we are going to be seeing alot of Angel Mercado and Steve King matches. I desperately want to proved wrong and run out of town on a rail, but I don't think I will be.

It could also be that some of the tape from that era is so damaged beyond repair and isn't fit to be shown.

How about this TV show.

They bring out Ivan Koloff and introduce him as the new champion. Not in 1976-1979 timeframe but that had to be INSANE

According to the reports, they are putting up 92 episodes of WWWF All Star Wrestling from 1976 through 1979. At about 45 min per episode (no commercials) that's about 70 hours of content. That is roughly in line with the size of recent "dumps" of content they have uploaded, so it seems about right.

With about 52 episodes per year x 4 years, there should be about 208 episodes aired between 1976 through 1979. 92 / 208 is 0.442 which means they are uploading 44.2 % of the All Star Wrestling shows from that time period.  That's almost half.

There's going to be a TON of stuff that has never showed up in the tape trading community. There's almost a 50/50 chance that the third Executioner footage with be uploaded. Other rarities like Bruiser Brody tagging with Stan Hansen have a better than 50/50 chance since it happened a few times on All Star Wrestling.

I think it was Landry who posted on KM that ‘75 episode will be shown, also.

Maybe getting close to The Valiants and the Arion heel turn.
