Enzo tweeted out confirmation that he won't be charged with sexual assault due to insufficient evidence and the investigation has been closed.  Big shock.

This was Enzo's first tweet since January when the accusations were first made against him as he had gone completely off the grid, both online and apparently in real life too since he had been a TMZ darling and nightclub connoisseur in the weeks prior to the incident.

I imagine that the Impact rumors can now begin.

I wonder how it would have gone had he disclosed to the WWE that this was out there. Given his rep, they probably would have gotten rid of him anyway.

They got rid of Rich Swann and that was even more ridiculous.

Well, WWE worries more about Wall Street than anything else now. It is all a risk management thing these days.

Enzo Amore was on thin ice before the charges ever surfaced. My understanding is the off screen Enzo isn't far from the on screen version. He was rubbing people the wrong way. His charisma and personality were enough that he was getting pushed at the top of the 205 Live roster to the end, but it was a matter of time before they tired of him, especially if there was no upward movement in 205 Live ratings and interest.

Depends on who it is though, right?

 - Roman Reigns investigated about a steroid ring:  Main events Wrestlemania every year
 - Brock Lesnar fails a UFC drug test:  Still the champ
 - Paige violates wellness policy:  Is a new GM
 - Jeff Hardy DUI:  New US Champion

Some people get fired, some "scrubbed" from history, some seemingly get rewarded.

About 10 days after learning that no charges will be filed against him, Enzo is putting himself back in the spotlight and will make an announcement tomorrow at 9:00 PM live in NYC about his future.  Most of the speculation revolves around him and Impact announcing that they've made a deal since Don Callis has alluded to the fact that they're interested.  Other rumors include Enzo making a challenge for the NWA title or announcing his participation in the Bullet Club's "All In" event.  It could even be a combination of those.  Really there's a very small number of avenues that Enzo can pursue at this point that would make any type of splash so those are pretty much the possibilities unless it's a complete self-promotion swerve and Enzo just thanks his supporters and says something more vague.  I don't think that would be wise.

Enzo wound up just giving out t-shirts to a few hundred fans in Times Square and seemed to get quite a gathering around him that he put on social media. But no real announcement.

Enzo Amore told TMZ yesterday that he will never wrestle again, "not in a million years".

He is advertised for some indy shows now that he's been cleared, but only for autograph signings and not to wrestle.

Why would he not wrestle? What does he have to fall back on?

And the World thanks him for this.
