I CANNOT watch gruesome shit like that. I was watching that PPV live when it happened, luckily they missed it and when they cut back to the ring he lifted his leg and you could see part of it NOT lift and I remember cringing and just looking away in horror.
The next night at that Nitro when they announced they were going to show it, 2 friends of mine always came over to watch wrestling on Mondays' with me,  and that night my younger brother had come over. I knew what happened and when they were announcing they were fixing to show it I said "Ya'll gotta see this!" then I turned away. Like 5 seconds later I hear them screaming "OH MY GOD!!!" and Matt (friend) running down my hallway to get away from the TV and my brother and Eric (other friend) ran out the front door onto the porch to get some air lol.  To this DAY I still haven't watched that..their reaction was all I needed to see to realize I should never seek that out..

I read over on Wrestling Classics that it was a work.  Sid hid a rubber leg in his trunks during the match & he pulled it out when he climbed the ropes.  They used that for the angle.  Ports will know more about it since he was the one who broke the story.

Was it the same rubber leg that was used as a romantic aid in the Chyna-Nicole Bass sex tape?

To clear things up once and for all:

Sid: Rubber Leg

That fat guy from ECW: A fake ankle, possibly rubber

John Walker: Rubber Man

Chyna/Bass - there may have been some rubber involved, but if you look closely at stills from the Chyna/Bass tape you will note that Nicole had *remarkable* flexibility. Any coitus acts that involved the unusual bending or twisting of a leg were 100% Bass and not the use of a robber prosthetic. The scene where Chyna performs "headphones" on Bass, and the Helicoptering are the only things on that tape I question the legitimacy of.

pulled a rubber leg out of his trunks? Somehow you'd think that'd be noticable

Did any of this happen in Australia?  That would explain a lot.

Stan Hansen lacerated his Achilles tendon when he tried to open a glass door with his foot because he was carrying bags. His foot just went straight through the door and shattered all the glass. I believe he missed two months from the injury.

I’ve been watching a fair amount of ROH, CZW and AAW from 2014 and I’m seeing a lot of chairs being used or at least being set up to be used and it has me wondering has anyone taken a chair leg in the asshole or the dick? I’ve seen some close calls and I gotta think someone has taken a bad shot.

I know dreamer took a lot of shots to his dick and sack back in the day but as dumb as it sounds it looked a lot more controlled in ECW.

That sounds terrible; the Achillas is a thick tendon to damage.

Not just the camera but folks at ringside too.  A leg isnt something you can just hide in your trunks, it'd be even more noticeable than Shawn's sock; I suppose he could pretend he was REALLY enjoying his match but ...
I call bullshit on that one.

Buddy Landell was just getting a mini push in the WWF when he slipped on his front doorstep and put himself out of action for the rest of his contract.

No, you are bullshit.  The rubber leg is real.  Go back and watch the match.  It is very obvious when Sid makes the switch on the outside. People haven’t seen the entire match in 20 years and don’t want to admit they missed this when it originally aired.  Why would Sid want to jump off the ropes like that unless they had an injury angle planned? He had never done that move before in his career.  A human leg wouldn’t bend like that anyway.

Was it Vader who’s eyeball popped out against Cactus Jack in Germany during a match and he just popped it back in?
