Rumor is a 2-year deal with Misterio making his return on the Raw or SD! immediately following Summerslam. No word on how many dates they agreed to. That was obviously the sticking point for years. Misterio wants to only make select dates and WWE wanted him full-time on the road. We’ll see.

Why would they want someone whose body is shot to be on road full time?

Sounds like dirt sheet BS.

Being the only game town I would think the E would be a lot more agreeable to working with these guys. I can understand the E wanting all of the champions to be wrestling as full time as possible but I don’t see why it would be bad for business for mysterio, Cena, HHH, undertaker and the like to wrestle a match here and there with a bunch of promos mixed in along with plenty of time off.

I disagree with Brock being the champ and only appearing every once in awhile. The champ should be seen; hogan wrestled a full slate of house shows at his peak even if he wasn’t wrestling on tv regularly.

I am trying to understand something about Mexican Lucha CMLL. I get that if, in a tag match, one team member can slide to the floor and this enables the other to get in the ring sans a tag.
But, why do they sometimes pin/submit both partners in a matter of seconds of one another? Is that a rule - you must fall both to get a fall counted? Or is it just good showmanship?

They have "captain's trios matches".  You can pin the captain of the team, or you can pin the other 2 members of the team.  If the captain isn't taking the fall, yes you need to pin 2 guys.  Of course those 2 pinfalls always happen within seconds of each other because Mexico hasn't updated its booking practices in decades.

I will never understand why an older wrestler isn't embraced instead of shunned.  Guys like Rey and RVD should be full time roster members even if they only wrestle once or twice a month.  Jericho had it right, one time he had a month to come back and he only did house shows as a "special attraction".  It makes total sense.  Don't book the older guys that pop the crowd into intricate storylines, just put them in there with somebody they can entertain with and be done with it.  Like you say, Brock shouldn't be Champ at this pace and schedule, but he totally belongs in WWE.
