Either Rowan, Harper, or both have recently been at the Performance Center shaking off ring rust. And allegedly, Cena is out of the Rumble, unless WWE wants to book their own swerves now. Ziggler is not wrestling, so he says, and he’s got a standup comedy performance booked that supposedly he sold tickets for. So I don’t think he will be there. With them actually appearing on Raw AND having an angle I wouldn’t be Ryder and Hawkins to be in it, but also the angle could be used to crush them and get the two young guys over - Ryder lives in Orlando and would be perfect for AEW, and considering his overall lack of use the last 18 months or so it would make sense that he’s on his way out even as his girlfriend just signed

I think Rowan and Harper would be cool in this match.  Not sure what the deal is with Strowman either of course, I'm sure he'll be doing something.

Now that I think about # 30 might not have been a bad number to pick.Someone will either beat R Truth senseless and take his spot or beat him at Rick, paper scissors to do it and then win the Rumble.
Bray Wyatt maybe?
Haven't followed things closely enough to know who might be a surprise entrant but there will likely be a couple Legends showing up.

So, out of the people that have been announced so far, the only ones I can see having any shot at winning are:

Braun Strowman – Seems too obvious, and he won that Greatest Royal Rumble event already, so maybe not

Seth Rollins – He has never won previously, and has been getting a big push

Samoa Joe – Only guy from Smackdown I could see winning this, I guess he would face Daniel Bryan

Drew McIntyre – They have beat him on tv recently with Balor and Rollins, so I guess his push is ending

Bobby Lashley – Outside chance if they want to put him against Brock

As always, a lot of mid-carders, but plenty of spots for a surprise guy to win I suppose.

It seems pretty wide open this year. There are no obvious choices or even guys that the smarks are clamoring to have win. The good thing about WWE having no top guys is that it finally makes the Rumble unpredictable.  I’d love to see them debut an NXT guy at like #4 and have him win, but that won’t happen.

We’re underway with our first match of the pre-show. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable in a non-title match against Rezar and Scott Dawson. The story is that Akam is out with an injury (I assume legit) so if this team can beat the champs both AOP and The Revival get future title shots.

Any truth to the rumor that the 2019 Royal Rumble will be so long that the preshow for 2020 will start at the conclusion of the 2019 Rumble.? 😂😂😂

When Roode and Gable were making their way to the ring, Bobby Roode sped up and the back peddling camera guy crashed while he still had the shot.  You could actually see his own shot of his leg after he hit the ground.

That didn't look scripted lol.

Roode and Gable win again so there was no point to any of this.  Typical Raw mid-card type match, nothing special at all.

You're right, I guess this is what happens when you have to fill a 2-hour pre-show.
