I don't see the overwhelming need to put Booker in twice when so many others aren't in once yet.

I think it’s a pretty good choice honestly. I was never a huge fan but they were multiple time champions and were together for quite a long time.

There's no doubt they were a great team during the Monday Night Wars era, which is what Vince most highly values.  But with the better member of the team already in (and Stevie Ray did get to induct him) I can't help but think that I'd much rather see the Steiners, the British Bulldogs, Demolition, etc. get inducted, but all of those teams are problematic for WWE in various ways.

When is Killer Karl Kox going into the HOF?  Reverse racism is alive and well I see, even in Trump-supporting circles like WWE.  Sad.

Isn’t that part of the problem for the WWF in a PC corporate world? Concussion lawsuits, wild behavior and bad blood.

Well Booker T is the only wrestler ever to drop the N word on a wrestling program, so there's that...

I have no issue with Harlem Heat whatsoever. Inducting the Bulldogs when one died a raging drug addict and the other was Dynamite Kid doesn't say a lot of good about the business. WWE could argue that their run in the US wasn't long enough and it's a fair argument. Steiners would be no brainers if Scott wasn't a lunatic when it comes to the letters W W E. He went off on Trips multiple times when he was there in 2003 and after he left, and within the past few years he was looking to murder Hulk Hogan at a ceremony - and the threat was taken seriously enough that they had his picture at the door so security would know if he tried to arrive. Demolition is a complete no brainer even with Eadie being part of a few lawsuits against them. WWE likes to forgive and forget, unless it goes to the courtroom. Then they only forgive and forget if they can make more dimes off of your name.

Let's not forget Stevie Ray's broadcasting career.

"Tony...why is that yak in the ring?"

WWE acknowledges Scott's birthday on IG every year so I imagine there’s no hard feelings on their side. But then again WWE seem capricious w/ that as they are w/ inductions. For example, they posted birthday wishes to Leilani Kai last yr but didn't the yr before nor this yr.

It felt special that Flair was a two time HOF, and befitted his long run as a top guy. They could just have put in Stevie Ray and made sure to note Booker would induct him if they were that worried about star power.

Stevie Ray ended Rick Martel's career with his ignorant version of the pedigree finisher (and hurt several others because he couldn't work), not to mention the fact he was a shitty worker overall and was not respected by his peers. Booker was great, but Stevie was a worthless waste of oxygen.

Given that Booker is already in, this is a strange decision. Booker T was Harlem Heat. He had all the talent, which is blatantly obvious by how different their careers were when they weren't teaming. This whole induction seems to be the set up for a joke with the punchline being that Booker can now call him self a two-time, two-time Hall of Famer.
