Just saw the match and Cody and MJF told such an amazing story throughout that match. It was outstanding. Not the spotfest show-stealer that the Bucks match was, but Cody is quickly becoming as good as it gets in the business at creating special moments.

Schiavone was pretty funny on Twitter with this:

“I’ve been known to throw out a few superlatives in my day 😂😉 but I think this was the best tag team match I’ve ever seen.”

I hate that Moxley won the belt. He definitely should be champion and a long term one at that, but I think Jericho has been gold and should’ve kept the belt for a year. I really hope that Jericho gets it back quickly and then Mox wins it at their equivalent of Wrestlemania and holds it for a good long run. I just think that at Jericho’s age and his music career that you are on borrowed time with his viability as champ, while Moxley has years ahead of him. And you know before Jericho hangs it up, he’s going to be face again. It’s too soon though - unless Jericho wants to be done now, which I doubt.

Yep, agree with everything you said. I think this is some of Jericho’s best work of his career and AEW needs him as champ to be the face of the promotion.

I agree. I was surprised they switched it so quickly.

Cody's new tattoo is horrendous. Even worse than Jack Gallagher's new ink.

I don’t know when neck and face tats became acceptable for anyone other than prisoners, but this has to stop. Few can get away with it, and Cody can get away with it less than most.

Colt Cabana has officially signed with AEW as an in-ring talent, agent, and occasional commentator. No word on what this means for his future with the NWA since they have a working relationship with ROH.

PWInsider post-Revolution news and notes:

Jon Moxley was busted open when he hit his head on the ringpost during the main event of AEW Revolution. During a post-show media scrum, Moxley stated that he was seeing triple after he struck the ringpost. He noted he was probably "half-concussed."

Tonight's PPV was a 100% sellout.

AEW was selling Jon Moxley "I Was There" t-shirts commemorating his AEW Championship win after the PPV.

The two-ring, double cage with a roof match at the 3/25 Dynamite will be titled a "Blood and Guts" match, according to AEW President Tony Khan. He made it clear there will be zero reference to the match as a Wargames.

Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall will be a regular tag team going forward as the Natural Nightmares, managed by Brandi Rhodes. Brandi was not be as active cornering Cody going forward, leaving him with Arn Anderson full-time.

Colt Cabana is officially signed with AEW and will be working as a wrestler, producer and announcer. He will still be able to take outside dates.

Jeff Cobb has not signed any contract with AEW as of this writing.

Renee Young was backstage.

I neglected to mention this in my PPV report, but actor Stephen Amell accompanied Cody to ringside for his match.

AEW President Tony Khan declined to comment on the possibility of Matt Hardy coming in.

Yes, that was a real neck tattoo on Cody featuring the Nightmare Family logo. Brandi Rhodes made it clear during the post-match scrum she wasn't a fan of it.

It was noted during the post-show media scrum that Awesome Kong had been working as a Producer for the women's division but is taking a break from those duties as she is filming the final season of Netflix's GLOW.

Chris Jericho noted that he felt his ring entrance at the PPV was the best ring entrance in his entire career.

I haven’t been able to watch the tag match that everyone is raving about yet. I have the full show on my laptop and planned on watching it, but I cooked my motherboard last night. If anyone knows where I can watch it online on my phone please hit me up.

That screams attention whore. His 'executive' role is probably just window dressing for the cameras but good luck in business meetings with that thing on your neck

It really is awful looking. Not only is the design and color scheme lame, but the actual quality of the work looks poor.

No one looking to get their first tattoo should ever choose anywhere above where the shoulders meet the neck. Ever.

I'm looking forward to the next time MJF gets a live microphone on 'Dynamite'. I'm sure he will be giving his opinion on it.

The Ink Master judges would send that artist home.
