Wasn't Lance Archer supposed to debut this week?

Jake Roberts as the mouthpiece for Luke Harper will work. The biggest problem is that Jake ruined his voice by smoking crack, so his best promos would be the quiet pre-tapes. But, he can still get an angle over, and you know he wasn’t scripted last night. Still surprises me that he comes in and gets 5 mins with Cody, while Tully Blanchard hasn’t picked up a mic since the show started.

It was assumed because they announced his signing, but it was never guaranteed. If they brought in Harper and Archer as a monster tag team with Roberts as their mouthpiece, I’d say sign me up.  They would all work well together, but that’s not the plan.

They already have 20 tag teams though. Jake should of been brought in as the Dark Order leader or a tease as the Dark Order leader.

Jake Roberts took to Twitter to call his Dynamite debut “one of the greatest moments of my life” and credited DDP for getting him the job, as well as for his continued sobriety.

AEW's post-Revolution show drew a very impressive 906,000 viewers, up almost 100,000 from the week before. So a very strong PPV with lots of positive buzz helped.

NXT, in the meantime, remained completely flat. They had 718,000 viewers, almost exactly the same as the week before.  This despite the fact that they advertised a double main event of 2 steel cage matches, and the week before had a special appearance from Charlotte Flair.

What would be interesting to me is if USA told WWE that they didn't want NXT running live on the Network anymore, and then see what the ratings are.  Because anybody who actually cares about this stuff watches AEW, then goes to the Network and watches NXT right after.  That's not saying the 1.4M subscribers are all watching NXT, but WWE has the ability to see who's watching it live and they could report it if they chose to.

But I think you have to wait at least 48 hours before NXT gets uploaded to the Network.  I DVR NXT and AEW is just about the only wrestling show that I usually watch live.

You are beautiful on the inside
You are innocence personified
And I will drag you down and sell you out
Run away

I am cold like December snow
I have carved out this soul made of stone
And I will drag you down and sell you out
Embraced by the darkness, I’m losing the light
Encircled by demons, I fight

What have I become, now that I’ve betrayed
Everyone I’ve ever loved, I pushed them all away
And I have been a slave to the Judas in my mind
Is there something left for me to save
In the wreckage of my life, my life

I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
Judas in, Judas in my mind
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
Judas in, Judas in my mind
Judas in my mind

Oh, this guilt is a heavy cross
There is blood on the path I walk
And each step I take is haunting me
Embraced by the darkness, I’m losing the light
Encircled by demons, I fight

What have I become, now that I’ve betrayed
Everyone I’ve ever loved, I pushed them all away
And I have been a slave to the Judas in my mind
Is there something left of me to save
In the wreckage of my life, my life

I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
Judas in, Judas in my mind
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming
Judas in, Judas in my mind

Judas in my mind
Judas in my mind

What have I become, now that I’ve betrayed
Everyone I’ve ever loved, I pushed them all away
And I have been a slave to the Judas in my mind
Is there something left of me to save
In the wreckage of my life, my life

I’m becom-, I’m becom-, I’m becoming

Judas in my mind

That's a good look for Nick Jackson under that overhead door. lol

So Jake Roberts showed up with Lance Archer and both sat in the crowd watching the first tag match with Cody.

Whoever is in the control room directing the cameras for Britt Baker's interview should win an Emmy lol. This is great cheap heat.

Priceless crowd reactions and they found the perfect fat guy to cut to when she mentioned BMI.

Funny when Baker and Swole busted each other on their husbands too.

Here is a link to the new AEW Unrestricted podcast with Tony Schiavone. Not bad. So far, all shows average 55 minutes long. The latest guest is Tony Khan.

So AEW is is going ahead with their show tomorrow at a place called "Daily's Place" in Jacksonville Florida. They too will be having their show in front of no crowd. I assume they will be doing 'Dynamite' from there going forward until that gets shut down or until this virus is over with.

It will be interesting. I'm thinking they will at least have a more entertaining show than what WWE has been doing at the PC.

This will most certainly have an impact on the momentum they have been gaining. The last few shows were getting really better. I just wonder if those million and a half people who watch AEW and NXT every Wednesday night comes back when everything gets back to normal?
