EDIT: When I wrote this, I had totally forgotten about the Shida-Abadon match. I really don't like the Abadon gimmick, but the main event was so good, that she was completely washed from my mind temporarily. Yes, the Snoop Dogg splash was also terrible, but the rest of the show was so, so good.

Let's not get carried away that NJPW is in any way part of this.  They've been pretty bitter about the way most of these guys left after their last Tokyo Dome show for 2 years now.  It's just another Bullet Club call-back, no different from AJ Styles and the Good Brothers doing it in WWE.  It's amazing how much mileage so many different companies have gotten out of this one group, and more amazing that NJPW has completely lost control of it and haven't benefited from any of it.  The real Bullet Club currently in NJPW doesn't have any buzz around it anymore and almost no one could tell you who the members are right now.

That's why I added "loosely". Jon Moxley is still their US champion and made a video appearance at WrestleKingdom.

Marko’s a jobber. People need to get over it. He’s not pushed in any way.

Kenny Omega is way too giving, a bit like Flair was in the ‘80s. He’s out there with a jobber in Danny Limelight and he’s trying to be the “Best Bout Machine” instead of just coming across like a star and crushing him. That whole 6-man match to promote Hard to Kill was too long and should’ve been a squash, not an attempt at having a great match. This is where AEW falters sometimes and they don’t quite get it.  It’s a reunion of Omega, Gallows, and Anderson after years, all the fans want and need there is an ass kicking.

Also, how do Rich Swann and the MCMG not show up there for a post-match brawl instead of the schmoz we got?

Jade’s a legit 6 feet in heels so I don’t care about that, but the segment was Jerry Springer trash and not exactly something that would be out of place in WWE. Not good.

Tonight Jungle Boy debuted his new/old theme song “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora on Dynamite. The ‘90s electronica classic was his theme song on the indies and Tony Khan “bought it” for him for his birthday. He’s used it on Dark once or twice and tonight finally used it on Dynamite.

I would agree AEW is using her wrong.... Vicky should be doing the speaking for her and they should be using her as a powerhouse... the fact that she is taller and bigger than 90% of AEW male wrestlers should give her a boost in the woman's division which is poor right now..

One of the things I absolutely love about AEW: Jericho makes a throw-away joke about Sammy Guevara and Jake Hagar being Team Sammy Hagar and a couple of weeks later they have Sammy Hagar sending in a video message on Dynamite putting over his favorite new team. It’s just the sort of thing you can’t write, or if you could WWE certainly wouldn’t know how to write it.

I'm pretty sure that was a Cameo.

I don't think so.  I think Jericho just made a call.  They've done plenty of stuff together over the years.

I never said I was “amazed” by it, just commenting on something related to wrestling that I like, which one is wont to do on a fairly regular basis on a wrestling message board. I guarantee I never give much thought to what amazes you.
