Literally years worth of stories and fresh matches. But hey, Goldberg is back... That's why I added "loosely". Jon Moxley is still their US champion and made a video appearance at WrestleKingdom.

Kenny Omega is way too giving, a bit like Flair was in the ‘80s. He’s out there with a jobber in Danny Limelight and he’s trying to be the “Best Bout Machine” instead of just coming across like a star and crushing him. That whole 6-man match to promote Hard to Kill was too long and should’ve been a squash, not an attempt at having a great match. This is where AEW falters sometimes and they don’t quite get it. It’s a reunion of Omega, Gallows, and Anderson after years, all the fans want and need there is an ass kicking. Also, how do Rich Swann and the MCMG not show up there for a post-match brawl instead of the schmoz we got? Not good.

Tonight Jungle Boy debuted his new/old theme song “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora on Dynamite. The ‘90s electronica classic was his theme song on the indies and Tony Khan “bought it” for him for his birthday. He’s used it on Dark once or twice and tonight finally used it on Dynamite. Vicky should be doing the speaking for her and they should be using her as a powerhouse... the fact that she is taller and bigger than 90% of AEW male wrestlers should give her a boost in the woman's division which is poor right now.. One of the things I absolutely love about AEW: Jericho makes a throw-away joke about Sammy Guevara and Jake Hagar being Team Sammy Hagar and a couple of weeks later they have Sammy Hagar sending in a video message on Dynamite putting over his favorite new team. It’s just the sort of thing you can’t write, or if you could WWE certainly wouldn’t know how to write it.

They've done plenty of stuff together over the years. Last edited on Thu Jan 21st, 2021 01:17 pm by srossi ____________________ This thread was great before AA ruined it. |

I never said I was “amazed” by it, just commenting on something related to wrestling that I like, which one is wont to do on a fairly regular basis on a wrestling message board. I guarantee I never give much thought to what amazes you.
