Last night's AEW Dynamite preview show on TNT drew 631,000 viewers, which is a damn strong number for just a preview with video packages. You'd think the actual show tonight could approach 2 million.

AEW now has clearance in the UK as well, per Tony Khan's tweet today: As I’d promised last week, we’ve been working with our friends at @ITV on scheduling to get free same day access to our weekly episodes of AEW Dynamite for our amazing UK fans via ITV Hub and a sooner free to air replay on ITV4. Thank you for your patience, here’s the great news

Meltzer reporting that the L.A. Times story on AEW today was the most viewed article on their website by far, beating even all the Trump stories as well as every other hard news and entertainment article. The Times was shocked.

Chris Jericho was at the Rangers-Jets game last night and was wearing the AEW belt. When they showed him on the screen he got a nice pop...and was identified as “WWE Superstar”. Some things never change. It’s the ‘90s all over again.

Here is the AEW StubHub report. This doesn't count what is still at box offices for general sale or what's on other third party, fan to fan ticket sites. There only 230 tickets on sale at the moment for Boston tonight with a $27 get in price. On the other hand, Philadelphia has 1,818 tickets on sale for the basketball arena at Temple, with a set up probably in the 7,000 to 7,500 range and a get in price of $6. Pittsburgh on 10/23/19 has 879 tickets left with an $18 get in price. This arena holds 12,000 for Pitt basketball and is on campus. I'd venture after seat kills it will be more like 9,000. On 10/30/19 Charleston Civic Center Coliseum. This West Virginia venue was used by Georgia, JCP, WCW, and the WWF. It has 806 tickets on sale with a $26 get in. On 11/6/19 it's the old Charlotte Coliseum that later had many names and is now Bojangles Coliseum for a regional fast food chain. This is the historic venue JCP used and where Flair beat Vader at Starrcade as opposed to the massive building that opened in 1988, held 24,000, and had an insanely bad interior design that led to it being unsuitable for NBA games and then demolished after maybe 25 years. This place holds maybe 11,000 and will probably be set up for 8,000 to 8,500. There are 599 tickets on sale with a $43 get in price. Baltimore has 1,109 on sale for the Full Gear PPV on 11/9/19 with presumably the full 11,000 or so set up and a $37 get in price. Nashville has 647 on sale with a $30 get in price on 11/13/19. This is at Municipal Auditorium where Flair beat Steamboat and got jumped by Funk and where Harley Race took the table bump for Hogan on SNME. Concerts in the round with seating at the venue have a capacity of around 9,400. I don't know how many seat kills there will be. On 11/20/19 in Indianapolis there are 752 tickets with a $26 get in price. This is at the State Fairgrounds Coliseum. There are 6,800 seats for hockey. I'd bet that once you deduct seat kills and add back floor seating the capacity would be in the 5,500 range. Sears Centre Arena in suburban and almost exurban Chicago where All In and All Out were held has 1,085 tickets on sale with a $21 get in price for 11/27/19. All In drew 11,263 with All Out getting a rounded off 10,500. I assume the set up will be the same. This will be an interesting attendance mark to watch. The two big events had lots of internet fly in fans. Even with the start to the long holiday weekend on Thanksgiving eve, this card will presumably rely more on locals. 12/4/19 is in Champaign, IL at State Farm Center which is the corporate name for what was once called Assembly Hall. This is the basketball arena at the University of Illinois. There are 61 tickets on sale with a get in price of $52. I don't know the capacity. The arena is shaped like a circle and holds about 16,500 for hoops. It's hard to tell with seat kills due to the shape. This is another interesting attendance measuring stick for AEW because this is its first TV shoot in a non urban market. The entire metro area has about 230,000 residents. I assume students at the University of Illinois and Parkland College, which is a Juco that's residential and similar to a four year school rather than being a commuter school, are not included. If not, add in another 60,000 people.

From Meltz: "There is a chance that a portion of tonight's AEW show will not air on TNT tonight. Today's St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves baseball playoff game starts at 5:02 p.m. Eastern and will air on TBS. There is also a Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers came on TBS scheduled to start at 8:37 p.m. If the Cardinals game goes past 8:37 p.m., unlikely but possible, one of the two games would be put on TNT with the other on TBS until the Cardinals game ends. To offset this, AEW is scheduled to air live on both TNT and Tru TV for the two hours, which, with airing on two stations, would increase the potential audience. If the Cardinals game goes long, there could be a period where TNT goes to baseball, and AEW would only air on Tru TV. But TNT would return to the AEW show from Boston as soon as the first game ends. The complete two hour show will be replayed at 10 p.m. Eastern on TNT." Considering the the first inning of the Cards -Braves game is 40 minutes in and still going as I type this, it's probably a given that part of the TNT broadcast will be interrupted tonight. Cards-Braves ***SPOILER*** Cards up 10-0 bottom of the 1st.

PWInsider: AEW DYNAMITE COULD SWITCH STATIONS TONIGHT By Clint Novak on 2019-10-09 17:33:00 506 Sports, a TV Sports website, has tweeted that if the Braves/Cards Game 5 runs late tonight, and it starts at 5 pm, the Dodgers/Nationals Game 5 slated for 8 :30 pm will begin on TNT. That will push AEW to TruTV, where it would air there in full. This could be a major monkey wrench potentially in any Week 2 ratings data, given 3 of the games in the Braves/Cards series have run over 3 hours and 30 minutes.

They've already added Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) to the opening montage.
