While Ric Flair has been very open about his recent issues with WWE over their usage of "The Man" regarding Becky Lynch and his belief that he should be paid accordingly for the usage, he is still slated to be at this Tuesday's Smackdown taping.

Flair and his daughter, Charlotte Flair, are being advertised as taking part in a Q&A for WWE sponsor Crickett Wireless live from backstage at the Smackdown event in Atlanta, with the Q&A streaming live on Crickett Wireless' Facebook page and other social media platforms at 12 PM Eastern. That could make for an interesting session.

Flair remains advertised for the 10/4 Smackdown Live debut on FOX from Los Angeles as well.

The irony here is that the Flair was Conrad's first podcast venture, and Flair either got lazy or thought he was above this kind of work or maybe a combination of both.  Flair was phoning it in at the end (literally phoning it in), but Conrad's carved out a nice little niche.  Flair could have reinvented himself with the podcast and made some extra coin.  Instead, he wants to sue people over stupid shit now.

I really enjoyed the first version of flairs podcast where he would have a guest on and usually talk about the old days. The second version sucked with the current product segment and the Woooo! Of the week or whatever the fan segment was. Shit you would think this stuff would write itself; tell old stories, have your old running buddies on and if you run out of shit go thru entire years over a couple of weeks or months with tv and house show results to refresh the brain. Do some live events with Eric, Tony and Conrad and make money.

I wonder how many old stories there really are, or how many Flair still remembers.  He's told the same 10 ones for years now.  You'd think there'd be more.  I'm not so sure.  I think just about every other Flair story involves him going to a bar, wanting to be a big shot and buying drinks for the entire house, shouting "Wooooo" with every drunk that approaches him, and then passing out and being carried back to his room.  If I had to guess, I'd bet Michael Hayes has MUCH better drinking stories involving fighting and fucking than this guy.

This is a good point.  Some of these guys seem to have better memories than others, which probably makes the story-telling come much easier.  Flair's been accussed of having some "foggy" memory issues in the past (saying he was there for Brody's murder, as an example off the top of my head).  I don't know...maybe it wouldn't have worked long term, but he seemed to give up awfully early.
