A talent show for wrestlers is a blatantly terrible idea. Bad (as in unskilled or untrained) wrestling is not entertaining in the slightest, the way bad singing might be, and due to the nature of wrestling, it's impossible to be this great talent that only your friends and family know about. There is also the great risk that someone could land on their head.

Eh, I don't know if that's what they need either.  I don't know if any of those guys are right for the NWA.  I think a guy like Simon Gotch might fit in well if they can poach him from MLW.  Someone of that type.  Technically proficient, not demanding a lot of money (obviously), and a little bit of a name that doesn't have the stench of recent WWE failure.  But everyone has some kind of contract these days.

There is a happy medium that can be found. 2-3 of the right talents could be a huge positive at least considering the flip being a backyarder with a thumb tack fetish.

And it was mostly terrible. Especially after series 1

The NWA would dig up Lou Thesz just to kill him again if they could get Jon Moxley.

Smart mark fans have taken over the old school show and are booing Starks and heartily cheering Question Mark even as he and Stevens are double teaming Starks. Kind of humorous.

I thought Starks was a heel. He certainly should be. The NWA doesn’t make any of this very clear so it’s hard for the smarks to take over.

T;)his week's NWA Powerrr episode was temporarily pulled from YouTube after complaints over a line given by Jim Cornette on commentary, "“Trevor Murdoch, he's mad, bad, and dangerous to know. He's the only man I've ever known that can strap a bucket of fried chicken on his back and ride a motor scooter across Ethiopia. Trevor Murdoch can take care of himself.”

Cornette's casual racism isn't the kind of throwback they're looking for.

I can't wait to hear how Cornette attempts to defend this. To be such a liberal fan boy, he sure is a flaming racist.

I'm fed up of people being called racist for every little off-color or tone-deaf remark. I doubt Cornette is one.  All he is is a 60-year old from Kentucky.  But when a super liberal like him, who spends as much time bashing Trump's racism as he does having a coronary over Joey Ryan matches, suffers fall-out from the PC Police, it's hard to feel bad for him. When are liberals going to learn that they're the only ones who are going to suffer from their own radical policies?

That is a great fucking line.

I guess I'll just stop watching now since the social justice warriors got their way.

Jim Cornette is a social justice warrior.  He's just not very good at it, apparently.
