LMAO why waste your time trying to be logical with booking

Cain lost in 2 mins ...made a cool 2 mil Brock probably made 5 LMAO Brock is a genius Hulk Hogan couldn't do it better than Brock lmao
Just remember they buried Kofi whole title reign and Wrestlemania storyline for 2mins of that and then Brock gets backed down by Rey Mysterio lmao

Cain actually signed a long-term WWE deal and was booked so poorly in his first match that why would anyone want to ever watch him wrestle again? I just don’t get WWE at all.  They couldn’t let Cain do a hurricanrana or one cool move he learned in AAA before squashing him so that 1 person out there might be interested in him?

Exactly like why would i want to see Cain after that match.
They keep booking themselves in the Corner for no reason

I'm not going to destroy the booking of this match. Why? Because whomever booked it did so with the UFC in mind. They started out as they would have in the cage, Cain hit a liver shot and went for the kill - but he left himself open and Brock locked in a submission. That part? Just fine booking. The only problem is that nobody, repeat NOBODY else that has worked with Brock was booked that way, even 'Taker. So it made it appear like Cain got squashed. So I totally get why you and others are pissed. But Cain will regain his shine at some point, and if he doesn't, he's going to earn a minimum of $10M on this contract and he won't have to get hit in the face for real.

Two things I noticed - one, Brock was over HUGE with the crowd, while Cain got polite applause as if they weren't as familiar with him. Second, and even more surprisingly, the crowd mimicked Paul Heyman's speech, and I think it even surprised him a little bit as he was really, really wound up.

Also - when did WWE ring announcing get so bad? Whomever is the lead ring announcer here is just horrible. He sounds like a parody of Jeremy Borash.

Apparently Cain Velazquez needs knee surgery and that’s why he was booked to lose in 2 minutes. WWE was aware that he was banged up but didn’t realize how serious it was until a week ago. So he just signed a 3-year deal but probably won’t be seen again for 6 months. Locally there were already advertisements for a Mexican house show that was going to see Cain and Misterio face Lesnar and a mystery partner at the end of the month, that is likely off now.

I just saw it and being a UFC fan, I liked the way the bout was booked.
I wouldn't blow it on the first match. I would've had Brock win with a leg submission of sorts to sell the injury, but that's me using logic.

I just watched the match on Smackdown en Espanol (don't ask). The match itself looked absolutely horrendous. I could understand Cain being green but Brock? He looked like Joe Turco could have beat him in a shoot. The 'E' has problems that go beyond the Saudis beheading pro wres fighters.

Heel hook and have Cain stretchered out.  Will explain the absence.  So they did the arm instead.

Cain’s 2nd WWE match will see him teaming with Humberto Carillo against Gallows and Anderson on a Mexican house show. Also on that show will be Rey Misterio challenging Bray Wyatt for the WWE title.

When is that match taking place? I thought Cain’s knee was falling off

November 30.  They said his knee was in bad shape but I don't know if he just rested it or still needs surgery.  I would not expect him to get more than 2 minutes of ring time in this match.  He'll probably get the hot tag and the win.
