Here's a guy who's name I've seen bandied about through the years. However, I don't think I've seen any footage of him. Did he only wrestle in the PNW? Also, he seems more like an 80's guy and not a 60's or 70's guy. Would I be right in that assumption? Maybe I have to search him out a bit.

He jobbed in the WWF in the late ‘80s after everything else collapsed but other than that he was exclusive to PNW in the ‘80s. Think he started in the ‘70s and made the rounds in other territories before settling into Oregon.

He wrestled in Florida/World Class/PNW/Memphis/Tri States also.

If I am remembering correctly, I believe Jim Cornette managed him for a bit in World Class.

Just a cup of coffee in World Class. He was around for the 2nd Parade of Champions.

RIP Oliver passed away today. He was a cool heel in PNW and I can honestly say I was a big fan of his when I was young.

RIP

Mike Rodgers was the only one I wanted to sum up Rip Oliver's career, and he did for SLAM! Wrestling: http://slam.canoe.com/Slam/Wrestling/2020/03/01/22805269.html

I remember him from World Class, but watched a lot of him in the past ten years on Portland footage I've gotten or seen. He was a LOT better in Portland than anywhere else, and I think it was based on how he was presented.
