Dick Slater is the US Champion and Mid-Atlantic Champion in early '84, so he gives the MA belt to Ivan Koloff.

Dick was such a giver

The Mongolian Stomper then turned babyface and spoke for the first time in each territory, vowing bloody vengeance against the heel responsible for the injuries.
Wasn't the same kind of angle used by Tommy and Johnny Rich and by Buzz and Brett Wayne Sawyer in a few territories?

In Georgia, Buzz Sawyer (who was part of Ellering's stable at the time) turned face when he stopped Paul Ellering from interfering in Brett's match against Jake "the Snake" Roberts. Later, it was disclosed in an interview that Buzz and Brett were real-life brothers. I think this is my favorite all-time face turn

Was Buzz a face in Portland while a heel in Georgia at the same time? Did Buzz and Brett do the same angle in other territories?
