We're getting Total Bellas Season 6.  Stop complaining.

She's basically become the top former female wrestler in the history of the company, not just replacing Moolah who got canceled but also Trish and Lita somehow. Being married to Edge helps, but this is really crazy. They might as well just bring back Scotty Too Hotty and pretend he was Hulk Hogan. Does anyone remember one great Beth match? I'm struggling to even recall a feud she was involved in or anything that she did of any importance.
I could literally name 100 different people more of a WWE "Icon" than Beth.  It's just silly at this point, unless "Icon" now is the 2021 equivalent to WWE "Superstar", which everyone evolved into about 10-12 years ago.

Well "Icon" is just the title of the show she's being profiled on, and the fisrt episode with Yokozuna, also not exactly an icon, was fantastic.  I'm fine with that but Beth is EVERYWHERE and and has become the primary female presence of WWE, next to only Stephanie herself.  I listen to people talk about her in interviews and I wonder if I went into a coma for 10 years and missed the best part of her career.

PWInsider:

For those wondering about the migration of WWE Network to Peacock later this month, the FAQ page on the streaming service has some clarity.

The page lists that Raw, SmackDown and NXT will all keep the same on-demand window with Raw and SmackDown, having 30 days from the original airing and NXT will continue to be added, the next day.

As for what WWE Network subscribers need to do the transfer, it says the following, "Starting in April, Peacock will be the exclusive streaming home of WWE Network. Until then, you can keep watching directly on WWE?Network, as long as you have an active subscription. You can also create a Peacock account to?stream WWE Network on Peacock?beginning March 18. Note: WrestleMania on April 10 and 11 will only be available to stream on Peacock."

WWE finally sent me an e-mail this morning leading to the above link. You basically can't do anything until March 18 though.

WWE issued a press release this afternoon about the WWE Network migration to NBC Universal's streaming service Peacock.

Of the most interest to diehard fans, it was announced:

*The existing WWE Network in the United States will shut down on 4/4.

*The entirety of the WWE Network will not be available on Peacock at launch, which given there's thousands upon thousands of piece of content available, makes sense. The plan, according to the press release, is to have everything migrated over to Peacock by Summerslam this August.

*There is a limited time 50% discounted offer for existing WWE Network subscribers to subscribe to four months of the Peacock Premium service for $9.99 total instead of $19.96.

NOTE - Before anyone asks, WWE Network subscribers outside of the United States will have no changes to how they subscribe or stream content.

The official press release reads:

WWE NETWORK TO LAUNCH ON PEACOCK MARCH 18

WWE Network Subscribers Save $5.00 per Month by Signing Up for Peacock Premium

Peacock Premium to Stream Fastlane on March 21 and WrestleMania on April 10-11

New York, NY, and Stamford, Conn., March 8, 2021—Starting March 18, Peacock will begin rolling out WWE Network content just before Fastlane, the first WWE pay-per-view (PPV) event on the service. The new WWE destination on Peacock will feature fan-favorite content at launch, including all past WrestleManias leading up to WrestleMania 37—streaming exclusively on Peacock.

WWE will have a dedicated page on Peacock where fans can browse and access every PPV event in the last calendar year; current or most recent season episodes of WWE original series Steve Austin’s The Broken Skull Sessions, WWE Chronicle, and WWE Icons; in-ring action with new weekly episodes of NXT the day after air, as well as the 2021 replays of RAW and SmackDown 30 days after air; groundbreaking documentaries, including Undertaker: The Last Ride, WWE 24, and WWE Untold; reality series, including Total Bellas; as well as collections of featured series, topical moments like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Week, and playlists showcasing current Superstars.

Peacock will continually add WWE Network content to the library, making the entire WWE Network archive—including every WWE, WCW, and ECW PPV event in history—available to stream on demand before SummerSlam.

Peacock Premium will be home to all upcoming PPV events and the current seasons of WWE Original shows. In the free tier, Peacock will offer a new WWE channel; select WWE Original shows; reality shows like Miz and Mrs., Total Bellas, and Total Divas; recent in-ring content; and new weekly episodes of select live shows like RAW Talk and The Bump, both live and on demand.

When WWE sunsets the existing standalone WWE Network app on April 4, Peacock will be the exclusive streaming home to WWE Network in the U.S. To continue streaming WWE Network content, fans will need to sign up for Peacock. As previously announced, WWE Network, including all PPVs, will be available on Peacock Premium for $4.99—a $5.00/month savings. Starting today, Peacock is also offering the WWE Universe deeper savings for a limited time—details available at http://www.PeacockTV.com/WWE.

Peacock Premium is included at no additional cost for Comcast’s eligible Xfinity X1 and Flex customers and Cox Contour customers. Peacock is currently available on the Roku platform; Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K, and Apple TV HD; Google platforms and devices, including Android, Android TV devices, Chromecast, and Chromecast built-in devices; Microsoft’s Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One S and Xbox One X; Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation 5; and VIZIO SmartCast TVs and LG Smart TVs.

So for 4 months they want you to pay to see a far reduced library?  And let's face it, some of this stuff may never be migrated over even if they say that it will.

Just because NBC bought everything, they don't need to use everything. I'm not sure how interested they really are in bad-VHS quality ECW from the early 90s or obscure Scottish and German wrestling shows. The PPV events are a draw, especially the live ones and the documentaries are very well made. There's a lot of stuff on the Network that they wouldn't want anything to do with, however, if they ever found out exactly what was in there. It's "come for the wrestling, stay for the 'cock." With the deal for customers at the moment, they could drop 95% of what's on the Network and it would make very little difference.

I'm thinking that "Come for the wrestling, stay for the Cock" should be the 2021 version of "The World Wrestling Federation - Bigger, Better, Badder". I think we can make it work, possibly one of Kriss' best contributions to the board, and Kriss has always brought the content.

The offer is four months for $9.99. If it were Royal Rumble season, I would be in.

Sound like the rollout is being done by the federal government.

This page is no longer available.  They've done such an incredibly piss-poor job of converting subscribers that even when I want to do it, I can't.

So this is now the link - https://www.peacocktv.com/sports/wwe.  NBC is bringing the "sports" back to WWE.

It looks like this offer is also available to all first-time subscribers to Peacock, and not just existing WWE Network subscribers, as the press release originally said.
