I was watching Jim Cornette showing Bobby Heenan his memorbilia collection and they were asked what their biggest payday was. Cornette said $15,000 for Wrestlemania 10. Heenan said $100,000 for Wrestlemania 3. Heenan then says he got screwed because all the wrestlers got a million. There is no way that Vince gave all the wrestlers a million except Hogan and Andre is there?

Heenan later goes on a tirade about how much he hates Chief Jay Strongbow and Cornette talks about him showing up on Nitro. Does anyone know what date the episode was?

Were there any details about Heenan's ranting about Strongbow?

Strongbow was the agent at all the house shows for many years who had to keep the boys in line and doing what they were supposed to be doing, and stooged people off to Vince, so he had heat with everyone.  It was not a job that endeared him to the boys.

I think Heenan's beef comes from the fact that he pretty much did all the work building the heat for the match since Andre really couldn't do promos, yet ended up getting the short end of the pay.

I think Cornette was fooling many stating that he only made 15,000 for WM10. he made MUCH more in JCP as a manager of the MX. He told me once that he, Dennis, and Bobby, ALL made almost 40,000 each for the Scaffold match. They had to keep jackin up the price in order for them to do it.

Maybe that was for the entire series of scaffold matches they did around that December? A payday of $120k for one night's scaffold match seems high for Crockett.

About Heenan saying that the wrestlers all got a million from Vince, he must mean just Hogan and Andre.

Is the "Jim Cornette Collection" a video series or a compilation disc of some sort?  I guess I'm not up on titles if it is... I would guess it's a few years old given Heenan's recent health issues and being unable to speak for several months...?

ROH put out 3 discs of their Straight Shootin' series with Jim Cornette and Bobby Heenan. Volume 3 is the one that has Cornette giving Heenan ( and the viewers ) a tour of all the wrestling memorabilia in his house.

Actually, it was a bit more than $40,000 for each(and that came from Dennis). You're correct though, that wasn't for every scaffold match, just the 2-3 of them.

Also, Im sure that his time managing Yokozuna or Owen Hart, or even the MX he made more than $15,000 for a payout? I could be speculating here, he probably wouldn't tell me the exact amount if i asked him now, But it seems pretty strange that he wouldn't have made more than $15,000 on at least a few occasions?

I dont think Andre got a million either, I'm sure it was a very good payday for Andre, but i doubt BOTH he and Hogan made the same? could be, but I doubt it.
