Labor Day edition. Could/does Labor Day affect the RAW rating? It did last year (a 2.9) and it took Meltzer forever and a day to get the number out to us.

Bpickering took the prize last week (uh email me) correctly picking a 3.6 ~ he wins a 24-7 DVD of his choosing whenever I get around to it.

The goal here is to guess the damn number that Meltzer spits out right on the head. If nobody gets it right on the head it is whoever is closest to the number that Big Dave gives us but without going over. Gotta have that pick in before the show starts or else everyone will bellyache that you cheated.

For those following "The Hammer" I went back and found when The Hammer started playing in these pools and he started playing on September 22nd of last year. Little did we know just how special he is and how special this would become.

Thanks for the update on the streak beej. But I don't think that I am 0-for-49 because I have missed a week here and there for various reasons.

Keeping the streak alive!!

Bob Barker would love this pool.

I'm playing the clueless shopper who horrendously overbids:

4.6

Also expecting:

Bob announcing a 'Showdown Showcase' main event, avoiding any legality violations.  CBS/Viacom are partners anyway, aren't they?

Cena making a "spayed and neutered" reference in his dammit-I'm-serious-but-first-this-comedic-presentation promo.

Santino imitating the cliff climbing yodeler.

Barker offering to show Kelly Kelly his famed "one hundred dollar pocket".

Chavo vs Hornswoggle in a shell game match, whatever the writers can come up with to turn that into comedy.

Big Show using his knockout blow to play the Punchboard Game to determine rules for a tag match with Jericho vs Henry/MVP.

I think it'll be DX that makes that reference, but it has to come up somewhere, no doubt.

Chavo vs. hornswaggle is definitely a match they will make based on a Price is Right game of some sort.

Seems like a slam-dunk show for what they are going for...what are the odds the writers fuck it up?

from pwinsider.com

was walking around the area by the arena, and the WWE crew was painting a wooden prop that looks like the Contestants Row "closest without going over bid" game from the Price is Right, so expect that to appear somewhere in the show.
