I said 3 out of 32. Actually there were a few more than three. Very shocking to see Kevin Garnett & Dirk The German go down in the first round. I should have stated the rules a bit more clearly. NBA and ABA careers only. Fucking basketball HOF!! Have one for college and one for pro. But no!!!

Will someone please PM me my votes for the next round, as I now understand the the point is to vote for the player we are supposed to in the eyes of certain posters, and not voice our own opinions. If I have offended some by voting against the two most overrated players ever I apologize.

This ^^^.

Why even have the tourney then, just award the the title to MJ. There are a million best of polls out there. What makes S&W tourneys and discussions great is because we are quite an eclectic mix of people here with strong opinions. To me voting comes down to more than just compoaring stats and voting for the guy who has the better ones and the most chjampionships. A lot of determining choices in tourneys and discussion like this is character. Sure MJ was great, but we've learned some things about him since the glory years that are less flattering.
It all comes down to opinions when choosing and a lot of what I base my opinion on is whether I liked them or not, liked watching them play. They could have amazing scoring stats, ect, but if I didn't enjoy watching them play, then I just can't vote for them.
And sure there's guys I hate and just can't vote for like AI. A ball hog who took a million shots to get his good stat line IMO. Plus I actually picked a few guys I have no right to being a Laker fan, like McHale and Bird, BUT how can you NOT vote for McHale and Bird. I missed the chance to vote for 'The Chief' too though...He was included in this tourney was he not?

Actually maybe it is a good idea to have the selections e-mailed to me as that would make me remember to check this forum to vote everyday. :)

Bunch of fucking whiners. Vote whatever way you want to. I really don't give a fuck at this point. When Kobe Bryant and Isiah Thomas lose to vastly inferior players, it just makes it easier for other top guys at their respective positions to go on in the tournament.

Bingo. It's just a tourny. It's supposed to be for fun. I like seeing upsets, even if
I disagree with the results.
I'm shocked Kobe is out, but it ain't the end of the world.
