My too - he was my 9 point pick last year. I could have sworn I picked him this year too but I guess I figured that Burke was going to be too stubborn to fire his buddy.

I totally thought I picked him too and was shocked when I came to see how many points I got and found that I had not picked him.

I think the Loafs were doing pretty well around January 1st, which sort of makes sense why so many of us didn't take him this year.

Maybe somebody here tampered with our picks.

6 point pick - Brent Sutter ( Calgary - NHL )
5 point pick - Jack Capuano ( NY Islanders - NHL )
4 point pick - Chan Gailey ( Buffalo - NFL )
3 point pick - Joe Sacco ( Colorado - NHL )
2 point pick - Andy Reid ( Philadelphia - NFL )
1 point pick - Jerry Jones ( Dallas - NFL ) I'm thinking ( OK OK - hoping ) that Jerry Jones finally hires a real GM to run the team thus removing himself from the position. Of course - Jones will still be the owner so this pick might not be allowed under clawmaster's rules. My alternate 1 pointer is: Leslie Frazier ( Minnesota - NFL )

Don't see Ron Wilson here either. LOL!!

:D lol...what I was saying is that he was on my preliminary list and probably many other hockey-guy lists, but the Leafs were playing good hockey when we made our final selections, so I bet that's why I left him off my final ballot.

No team has looked worse in the last two weeks and fallen apart more from the start of the season than the Portland Trail Blazers, and coach Nate McMillan has paid the price.

Portland has fired coach Nate McMillan, tweets Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo.

There are not a lot of details, but McMillan was considered on the hot seat. In the last two days Portland had been blown out by Indiana and the Knicks and had been in a free-fall that had taken them out of the playoffs in the West.

Portland spent the trade deadline day getting rid of salary and setting themselves up for a rebuild on the fly around LaMarcus Aldridge. Clearly they wanted someone else to coach that team.
