The pitcher with the eighth longest consecutive scoreless innings streak in the American League also has the tenth longest scoreless innings streak in the AL; interestingly, he did it with different teams.  Name the player, the teams, and the seasons these feats were accomplished.

Again with the friggin Sox.

8. Luis Tiant, 41.0, 1978 Cleveland
10. Luis Tiant, 40.0, 1972 Boston

YOUR RESONSE IS WRONG, Little J!!!  It was 1968, not 1978!  You may want to wait for the question asker's clearance before you post your question like everybody else on the board has been.

(Note to self:  Remember that Mr. J has baseball-almanac.com bookmarked as his homepage.  Do not ask any questions that he can find there.)

A mere typo, my boy, a mere typo.

All the same, please take my spot now.  As for the Baseball Almanac reference, ditto my friend.  And I can't figure out if it's baseball-reference or baseballcube you use too.  Perhaps both.

Typos don't matter.  It's still wrong.

As far as "almanac", "reference" and "cube" goes...I too use 'em all! ;)

Correct. The other 2 are Glenn Healy and Dennis Vial. The 93 Expansion Draft had 2 different phases. Anaheim and Florida picked first, then Tampa and Ottawa could pick guys from Anaheim and Florida. This allowed players to get picked more than once.

Was it The Detroit Red Wings beating The New York Rangers 15-0?

I had to google the date on this. Was the date January 23, 1944?

I attribute this game to the fact all The good Rangers players were over serving their country in WWII.;)

This is a three part question with a bonus.

What college did Brock Lesnar wrestler for?
What was his overall
collegiate record?
Who did he defeat for the 2000 NCAA heaveyweight championship?

Bonus: Name the school his 2000 finals opponent wrestled for and the final score of that match.

Yeah you got it. I screwed up when I asked the second question though as I only wanted his record at Minnesota, which was 50-2, my bad.

He defeated Hand 3-2, I think:D. I don't know for sure myself and didn't check that before I asked the question.

Anyway LAF is next.
