Christ, I skimmed that list quickly and thought I saw all kinds of rasslin references: Vince Russo, Dino Bravo, Max Moon, Jim Barnett (my boy!)

Instilled Regard finished 4th, which was way above expectations. I’m not that familiar with track betting but I assume there was a way to make a killing on that even though he didn’t place or show.

No idea. I watch for the spectacle, which definitely has a perverse underside to it. Lots of douche-chilling stuff going on with that segment of society.

During the pre-show they had Tara Lipinski and a gay dude go to an “observation area” to watch American Pharoh fuck, where there proceeded to gawk and make sex jokes. It was literally creepier than watching a priest hit on an altar boy.

I missed that during the 8-hour pregame show.  Still, lots of 70 year old overly tan dudes with 25 year old Asian chick wives, thanking god because their horse was in the race.  Then the crowd... fat chicks dressed up and stuffing their faces with food and booze.  The whole thing is seedy as fuck.  Only thing that saved it was Eddie O on commentary.
