Doesn't necessarily have to be a "rookie" but that wouldn't hurt. Awarded to whomever rose onto the scene this year and made the most impact. Like the Wrestler Of the Year the wrestler should be decent both in the ring and on the mic. Use your judgement in terms of grading his "push" and how much you want to factor that in. Can be a US wrestler or international.

Slim pickins but I'll go with Primo Colon.  Not even close to a rookie but he's brand-new to WWE audiences.

I would have picked her to for 2007 though as that is when she debuted for TNA.

I'm going to have to go with Ted Dibiase Jr. I really like him. H ehas a great look and seems to have that 2nd generation charisma like Randy Orton, The Rock  and Cody Rhodes have. I hope he's built up good by the bookers when he gets back from filming The Marine II. Actually that must be done here soon. Rossi, have you heard when Jr. is set to return to the ring?

Does Maryse count?  I don't remember her wrestling before this year.

If not, then DiBiase Jr.

I'm officially changing my vote to Evan Bourne.  With him being injured I forgot about him, but he certainly made the biggest impact of newcomers to WWE this year.

I'll go with Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne) as well. Although technically not a newcomer. He was new to huge new audience and performed well.
