Awarded to the match that was "the best" in 2008. The "best" being totally subjective on your part -- what you enjoyed the most, could be a great match, a well hyped and important match that delivered or something with historical importance that created a memory. Can be either US or international. Can be TV or PPV. If the match involved a championship or a feud that you enjoyed then give that a little extra consideration.

There were technically better matches, but Flair vs. Michaels is the only choice this year.

My pick is the HHH-Kozlov match at The Survivor Series BEFORE the chicanery with Edge and Jeff Hardy at the end. Even though portions of the crowd chanted boring I thought it was a great "throwback" match to the old territory days. IMO you couldn't get much more "old school" than that. That is until the ending. I hope their rematch which they are building to will be more of the same. Note that I have yet to see the Flair-Michaels match from WM so I may change my pick after seeing it as a lot of people seem to agree that this was the biggest moment of the past year.

I think Flair vs Michaels led to the "biggest moment" of the year - not sure if it was the best match but in terms of memory and historical importance I would think so.
