We're looking at the world of sports today and we'll mix all the apples and oranges together and ask you to select "The Team Of The Year" What team was the best in 2008? We have had some solid performances (Phillies) and some very good championshhip runs (Giants, Red Wings, Celtics) with those teams there showing "repeat"possibilities. Tough call. Giants and Celtics were both underdogs in their championship series. You may include things like "ticket sales, fan base" in the equation if you wish to factor "the overall franchise" into the equation.

I hate it when my favorite team starts running low on velodromes. I'm going to e-mail Hal Steinbrenner and tell him to buy $50 million worth this off-season so we don't run out.

Cultural divide, I know, but every time you post I feel like I need to ask what in the hell you're talking about. Not to pile on or anything... What the hell is a velodrome, what the hell is a pipette, and since when is 'ace' an adjective?
