I was watching a 2001 episode of SmackDown when they trailered this. Not only is it just a horrible piece of television, but a complete bait and switch. Why would they blue-ball any extra viewers that might have tuned in with this? It seems the commentators had already given by this point, which was about half-way through the season.

If anyone thought that they were getting real nudity on network television, especially in 2001 when NYPD Blue recently showing half an ass cheek was the most controversial thing that had ever happened in the history of TV, then they deserve to have their balls cut off because they're too stupid to reproduce.

It's interesting watching the progression of the XFL through watching Raw and Smackdown in early 2001. At one point, JR is begging Raw viewers to write to the newspapers and ask them to cover the XFL. And in one promo, I'm pretty sure one player was saying that it was great that he was allowed to play straight after getting a head injury, while the NFL wouldn't have allowed that.

Just seeing that Vince was playing the Mr. McMahon character in the XFL, I can't imaging how anyone could have thought this was going to be successful.

When someone loses money, someone makes money. So, who made money out the XFL?
