Yeah, possibly one of the worst workers to have a 15-20 year career and never actually improve one iota. This was started over at KM a year or so ago and there's got to be a lot to add to this.

Glad to finally be here, btw-there is some great stuff on this site!

Is the Masked Canadian in the CA results a young Roddy Piper or no?   I seem to recall hearing he had worked under that name but 75 seems a bit early or is it?

Also Im reasonably certain that Stonewall Jackson in the IWA results is early work of Steve Muslin/Steve Travis

Yes Stonewall Jackson later became Steve Muslin/Travis.

1975 - New Japan (Magnificent Zulu)

Ron Pope, who was scheduled for a New Japan tour in 1975 as Magnificent Zulu, cancelled the tour for some reason, and someone much smaller was billed as "Mighty Zulu".  The guy's picture is listed on this page. Anybody know who he is?

1983 - New Japan (as Hercules Ron Hawk)

Despite a huge pre-tour hype, Hawk was so bad that he was sent back home in the middle of the tour. Even to this day, he is remembered by the longtime fans as the biggest letdown of all gaijin wrestlers in the history of puroresu.

Also, according the forementioned Japanese site, the Weekly Puroresu magazine had an article about him after the tour, saying that Ron Hawk "has been wrestling for Antone Leone in the west coast since last year (1982)".
