Claw- Hogan and Igor went around the horn in Florida. They each appeared on exactly one episode of CWF TV, executed an angle that was haphazardly thrown together, and neither was ever seen on the show again.

Do you have any results from these shows?

Claw, you are a god. Thank you.

Part of the reason I brought this up is that I remember Florida was running some REALLY weird stuff around this time, but I didn't remember the details. Thanks again.

Weird that the 6/23 and 6/30 Tampa cards are identical.

So at Shea Stadium on 8-9-80 when Hogan dejectedly said he knew he 'couldn't make it in wrestling', and Greg Gagne convinced him to go to the AWA instead... Hogan "took Greg's advice" by continuing to wrestle for Vince Sr. thru October '80, then return in December and make more WWF appearances until May of 1981, then did the June 1981 gig in Florida and by that August had finally made the trip to Minneapolis.  Somewhere in there Hogan did New Japan tours through the WWF, and filmed his Rocky III role, right? I looked around briefly for the Rocky III filming schedule but didn't find anything.

Starting mid-March 1981, Hogan started a series of matches losing to Andre and a also some matches losing to Tony Atlas, losing every match on his way out until mid-April. He then had no matches until mid-May in New Japan. That break is the most likely time for filming Rocky III.
